Joanie's is an authentic log home. It sits on a large lot, surrounded by majestic pines. We are one block from downtown in the old fashioned town of Mc Cloud. The Great Room is highlighted by a stone fireplace. You can retire to one of our 5 spacious bedrooms. The Oak Room is named for its fine oak antiques, includes a full bath and king size bed. The Pine Room has rustic pine decor with an open full bath and queen bed. The Wicker Room has a bright and cheery feel with a half bath and queen bed. The Cedar Room is a quaint and cozy loft room, includes an in room sink and queen bed. The 49er room is a fun loft room that sports fans will appreciate, includes a full private bath and a queen bed and a trundle bed. There is an additional full bath and washer/dryer available downstairs.
Our kitchen area is fully stocked with anything you might need. We welcome you to our home and are confident you will enjoy your stay!

This house was perfect for our large family ski weekend. 13 of us and didn’t feel crowded. Kitchen was fully stock, laundry, cleaning supplies everything you would need to feel right at home. The teenagers liked having the loft area for games while the older kids and adults hung out by the fire and chatted. Loved having the fancy coffee and the Main bedroom had a lovely remodeled bathroom and king bed. Two downstairs queen bedrooms, one had a full bathroom open to the room the other had a half bath in what used to be a closet. Then a full bathroom off the hallway downstairs. Upstairs had two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and one with a queen bed, and a twin bed and a full bathroom. In the loft area there Was a live seat and a fold away kids bed, and a seating area. Really enjoyed our time here you can tell it’s someone’s vacation home not just a rental. We walked around the neighborhood and saw foxes, and other wildlife. Plus Mt. Shasta Ski park is just minutes away!

Best equipped home we’ve stayed in. Every kitchen appliance in perfect shape, even down to the spices! Made a Thanksgiving meal for LOTS of people. Beautiful yard and location. Log cabin and fireplace effect made it super homey.
