The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This was a great little home, location was perfect, to the beach and Redwoods. The home was cozy and comfortable. Coffee in the morning in the backyard was nice in this quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay! Bummer that the national parks were closed due to the government shut down, but the State parks were open.

Redwoods visit

We stayed here for three nights while traveling up the coast from SF to visit the Redwood NP with our three kids (9, 7 and 4). The location was great for our purposes and perfect for our group of 5, I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

Darling Home

We celebrated my mother’s 85th birthday by bringing in immediate family members from out of the area and needed a place to house 4 of them. My brother and sis in law plus their adult daughter and her husband stayed at this darling home. It felt comfortable the minute we walked in the door. The neighbor was nice and it was easy access to Highway 101. The home felt safe and had all amenities. It was just a perfect home away from home. We will definitely rent this home again if we have a need!

Home away from home

I would highly recommend this home to stay in. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable. It’s spacious. There’s a nice yard with a play structure for the children. They were also Legos, games, and books. One thing I appreciated that many vacation rentals don’t have was dishes appropriate for small children. In terms of cleaning, the place was spotless!

Clean, comfortable stay

House was clean. Beds and pillows comfortable. Nice to have access to washer/dryer and full kitchen. Check in/out process was easy. Close to freeway access and to a gas station. We didn’t have time to explore Mckinleyville but we stayed here to be close to coast and also access the Redwood forests. It was a good pick.

I could live here

Spotlessly clean home. Wonderful beds, fully stocked kitchen right down to the spices, only draw back was the living room and dining room seating. We are seniors and all seats were very low, making it difficult to get out of them. They also were not very comfortable. We had a problem with the electronics (our problem) but the property manager was on it in seconds and solved the issue. I'd stay here again.

Great stay!

Fantastic stay at Hedge Rose House

Our family enjoyed our stay as we toured the Cal Poly Humboldt campus. Close to so many things it was the perfect launching pad for our time there. Well appointed, clean and comfortable (the king bed in the primary suite was HEAVEN). If my child decides to attend Cal Poly Humboldt I can see us enjoying more time in this home. Thank you!
