Property Description:
Agatina’s is a rare 3-bedroom townhouse tucked inside the ancient walls of Mdina — Malta’s former capital and one of Europe’s best-preserved walled cities. Home to around 300 residents, Mdina is often called an open-air museum for its blend of medieval and baroque charm, peaceful alleys, and timeless atmosphere.
This spacious, recently renovated house sits truly inside the Silent City — not Rabat, not the outskirts — giving guests a unique chance to live where nobles once walked, with all of Mdina’s main squares, cafes, and historic spots just steps away.
Agatina’s is spread over three floors, connected by a grand central staircase and is designed to host up to six guests in its three bedrooms.
The first floor opens into a warm living room with two large leather sofas and a chest stocked with local books and maps. Nearby is a cozy study nook under the stairs — perfect for reading or remote work.
A separate dining room seats seven comfortably at a large mahogany table, with doors leading to a private courtyard — ideal for alfresco meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and a washing machine, and this level also has a guest WC and separate shower. An air conditioner cools the dining and kitchen area.
Upstairs, the second floor offers two bright bedrooms: one with two single beds that can be joined as a double, the other with two singles (also joinable) plus an ensuite shower room, a second bathroom with his-and-hers sinks, and a small balcony overlooking a quiet lane. This bedroom is air-conditioned for comfort.
On the top floor is the ‘honeymoon suite’ — a spacious double ensuite bedroom that is air-conditioned with a small private kitchenette and commanding views of Mdina’s skyline. This floor also opens onto a charming roof terrace — perfect for evening drinks overlooking the Cathedral’s domes and the city’s timeless rooftops.
We look forward to welcoming you to this authentic family townhouse in the heart of Malta’s Silent City.

Other details to note:
For people that book for a few nights we are happy to prepare a small welcome package with some traditional food and drinks from Malta including a local wine favoured by the locals.
