Great place to stay if you’re in the Medicine Hat area, especially for an extended stay. Rooms have a kitchenette fitted with everything you need to prepare a simple meal which is so nice. Breakfast here is one of the better ones I’ve had. Highly recommend!

Excellent Accomodation in Medicine Hat

We recently stayed at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Medicine Hat for three nights, and from check-in to check-out, our experience was nothing short of wonderful. Every member of the staff we encountered was warm, friendly, and eager to make our stay pleasant. We booked a King Bed Suite and were thoroughly impressed. The room was spacious, spotless, and exceptionally well-equipped — it more than met our needs and offered great comfort throughout our stay. Everything you need for a business trip or a relaxing family leisure stay, this place has it! Including a well equipped gym and a fun pool and hot tub for kids and adults alike! A special shoutout to Leslie, the chef/hostess at the breakfast area. She was an absolute gem — gracious, welcoming, and attentive. Her warm personality added a lovely touch to our mornings, and she consistently checked in to ensure guests were well taken care of. The daily breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with a variety of great options. We highly recommend TownePlace Suites above other hotels in the Medicine Hat area. This will definitely be our go-to place whenever we’re in town again!

The hotel is clean, the pool is very nice,and the breakfast was a typical continental plus eggs and sausages. I had a standard king plus pullout couch and the room was very small. When the pullout couch was out (also small, sleeps one person), it went all the way to the end of king bed, leaving no room to walk past to the window. It was hard to find space for suitcases due to lack of floorspace, and the closet had an odd rack in it so there was no room for suitcases there either.

Excellent place to stay while passing through Medicine Hat. Clean rooms and pleasant staff. Breakfast was just ok. It was very typical hotel type of breakfast. The coffee was however cold. It is located near the number one highway so you do hear traffic noise in the rooms. Yes I would stay again while passing through.
