The staff member was fantastic. He helped me with a paperclip to open my phone so I could change my Sim card. He also allowed me to leave my bags after I checked out and called me a taxi when I returned. Thanks 👍

A lovely clean and spacious room. The bathroom is a bit on the older side and is due for a revamp, especially the bath! It's in a location very convenient to shops, food and public transport.

Loud music in the wee hours

After we had booked, CitiClub sent us an email which said, amongst other things "Nightclub is open on Friday & Saturday nights as well as Public Holiday Eve’s. Rooms will be affected by elevated noise levels. No refunds or changes available." The noise started at 4pm on Saturday afternoon and went until 5am Sunday morning. I fell asleep sometime late Saturday night. I was awakened at 13:17 on Sunday by loud drum rolls (or electronic version thereof) which seemed to go on until around 2am. I was expecting the nightclub to then close. However, the music was then louder and very repetitive until 5am. I guess it was computer generated which explains why it could be so bad and so loud for so long.

So the night club which I was warned about wasn’t on but there is still a lot of noise from surrounding clubs. The property is dated but still clean the bed was good. I guess you get what you pay for. And if you’re not to phased about the noise it’s not a bad place to stay but I feel it needs to be clearer that its very loud

Don't stay on a Saturday night!

Don't stay on a Saturday night. There is a night club next door that goes till 4am. Reception gave us ear plugs when we checked in, but they did little to dampen the noise and vibration of the loud music.
