**5-Star Review – Novotel Melbourne Airport** This has instantly become one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, anywhere in the world. From the moment we arrived to the moment we (reluctantly) left, everything was flawless. At check-in we were offered a suite upgrade for just $40 – we jumped at it and it was worth every cent. The suite was spacious, immaculately presented and genuinely felt luxurious. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. During our stay the airport was in chaos with multiple flight cancellations, meaning the lobby was packed with frustrated passengers and queues stretching out the door. Despite this, every single team member – especially the incredible women on the front desk – kept smiling, stayed calm and worked non-stop to get everyone checked in as quickly as possible. Their professionalism and genuine kindness under pressure was nothing short of remarkable. The on-site restaurants are outstanding; the quality of the food easily rivals any five-star city hotel (the tiramisu is legitimately one of the best I’ve ever had). Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and very enjoyable. Don’t be deterred by the airport location – the soundproofing is excellent, the convenience is unbeatable, and the overall experience is far superior to many “downtown” luxury hotels. The Novotel Melbourne Airport is now our undisputed number-one choice whenever we’re in Melbourne. We can’t recommend it highly enough!

The staff we spoke to were great - and the room as usual was immaculate. Disappointed only one restaurant was open (and the expensive set menu one at that ) , so our family had to go to the airport terminal instead. Otherwise excellent!
