Room was clean and bathroom was a marked improvement on my last stay. However I found the room to be noisy until late at night and early in the morning (425) I think due to the direction flights were taking off and landing. I think a room on the other side of the corridor would have been better. Checkin I feel needs a real imrovement. I was charged twice on my credit card after being told my card declined - yet the transaction went through at the time. I was able to check this there and then and show them that both charges were pending. Checkin during both of my recent stays and the one prior have not been issue free. This is poor for Novotel. Staff should be well trained in this aspect.

Great comfy beds and pillows, easy access to airport etc. We stayed 2 nights. Only thing was the bedside light didnt work on arrival & power in our room went Off. Desk promptly can to flick the power box (fuse blew) & said they would get it fixed the next day. This didnt happened so again power in room went out the 2nd night, office person came upto room reset the power box but power went out instantly. They got us a new room & offered us vouchers to cafe/restaurant but we had to decline as at 5am food place was closed, so no use to us! Complimentary bus drop off to terminal at 5am was great

Clean, a little upmarket for us country folk, haha.Foodcand drinks a little pricey, but incredibly convenient to the Airport. Polite, attentive staff and relatively quiet. Only minus was the very transparent curtains that allowed a lot of light into the room overnight. Thats not a good thing when trying to get a good night sleep. Choose a room that doesnt face the AFP building!!

I’ve stayed before on a coupe of occasions. Less impressed with check in this time than previous times. Arrived out of the rain to a young man who had no interpersonal skills. No greeting other than ‘name please’ which was given, then ‘ID’ which was placed on counter. He ignored this. He had still not made eye contact and asked for ID again. I had to pass this over the computer and at this point there was a cursory glance at my face. He went through the process of passing me the form to check and twice asked if I wanted one or two key cards… I was on my own and said one. Then he said Room 428 and that was it! My room was quiet. However….. there was hair on the bathroom floor (dark and long) so not mine, finger marks on the mirror and toilet button, so not cleaned to my expected standard I’m afraid. The food I ordered wasn’t great this time either. I’m booked again in a weeks time and hope for an improved overall standard.

Just a place to sleep nothing more... glass partition between shower/bathroom and sleeping area -not good if you want to go to bathroom in the night and you wake up someone with the light. Need mug instead of tiny cups that hardly hold any tea. Some bottled water would be nice.

Ok, so we waited 30 mins for a shuttle because the receptionist told us to wait somewhere where the driver obviously doesn’t stop! Two phone calls were made to Novotel. First question when we eventually arrived at reception and said we had a booking was ‘are you sure you’re at the right place?’ !! Felt very judged. The restaurant-appalling attitude of staff ( aside from one friendly person). Very unfriendly and untrusting. Reception had told us we had breakfast with the package, but in the morning the person at the restaurant said our room number was not on his list and was rude! Overall we will not stay again. Expected better service from a such a facility. Stuart R.

Hotel was very noisy in the rooms compared to other airport hotels directly opposite airport. Almost seemed like it wasn't sound proof given its an airport hotel it's necessary. 10min walk to airport terminal 2 but booked shuttle due to kids and early morning, shuttle left early without us even though we were in lobby a few min prior to 6am with no other option other than to walk with young kids and multiple suitcases.

Convenient Location if Transiting

It is very hard to get a hold of someone at the front desk. I had to go down a couple of times. They don’t have many international adaptors, so make sure you have some with you if you’re from overseas. They did find a cable for me so I could at least charge my phone. When I ordered room service, my order was incorrect. Could not get a hold of anyone, and had to go back down and get it corrected.
