nice hotel poor location

Hotel perfectly adequate. Comfortable room. Good breakfast and restaurant for evening meal. What is not good is the location. For an extended 12 night business stay on my own, it is too isolated from everywhere. There is nothing in the near by walking vancity to go to. No nice parks, no nice streets with a good selection of varied restaurants and bars etc. You need to get in the car and drive to find things to do.

Terrific hotel. One of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in. The staff from reception to management, to bar, to restaurant, to cleaners are all exceptional. Best customer service. The foid and cocktails were delicious. Room service was super prompt & divine. Luxurious bed. Best pillows. Room was spacious. Had great amenities. I was able to do my work. The bathroom was fabulous. Spacious shower with eady access. Rain shower head and accessible shower head. Lovely toiletries. Large tv with somevFoxtel channels & chromcast. Best buffet breakfast. All so fresh. Outdoor pool was great. Clean not too much chemicals which was perfect. There was a gym but notv my thing. Great warm atmosphere. Attention to details. Village cinema in comolex. Close to shopping. Close to many tourist destinations. Was so lovely I extended my stay. Especially for room and the wonderful attentive staff. Looking forward tonstayingbagain in June with family in tow this time. Cannot recommend my experience any more.

Funeral stay & grounding.

My stay was outstanding. I even extended another night. Hotel is exceptional. Extremely clean. Spotless with much attention to detail. Staff brilliant. Attentive, friendly. Polite, happy, Brilliant customer service. Food divine. Hospitality staff amazing. Best cocktails & service, Ginger restaurant staff so attentive & professional. All staff were compassionate (had two back to back funerals) & empathic. Eloquent. The staff really made my time full of ease, their consistency, achieving high standards. Achieving quality results. My room was truly lovely. Comfort plus. Great bathroom. Spacious. Comfortable bed. Best pillows. Could not fault a thing. Recreation was terrific. I was fortunate & had pool all to myself. Shopping galore. Cinema close. Etc. Lounge area friendly. Daily newspaper. Tea & coffee in room. Comfy large bath robes. Perfect for us voluptuous ones. Great desk to catch up on work. Lighting lovely too. Literally could not highly recommend enough. Full buffet breaky. Room service so prompt. Close to Cemetery.

1. Safe locked but when finally unlocked by trying random numbers still contained dirty old food from previous customer 2. Dirty items from previous customers in the bathroom 3. Smell was very strong (body odor/dampness) upon entering the room - requiring daily perfuming of the room to make it tolerable 4. Sheets do not smell washed - smells of body odor 5. No bottled water supplied at all in the room, no coffee machine - bare minimal amenities 6. Breakfast ends by 9:30, too early by international standards.

Lovely room, carpet was still a little wet (from cleaning I guess). Delightful lady at front desk gave my daughter a gift for her birthday- thank you so much! Disappointing wait to receive bedding for the fold out couch- 11pm. Breakfast was extremely busy and we had to stand there for 15 minutes to get bacon and pastries. Tasted good though!
