The staff in the salted egg for breakfast were not friendly at all, made you feel like an inconvenience. No bench in bathroom for toiletry bag making getting ready difficult. Would expect bathrooms included in a VIP access room.

I enjoyed the location. The pool was lovely and the food at the restaurant was great. I did not receive my VIP extras (bottle of wine and upgrade) and our bedding request was not responded to. They did not have barista coffee as part of the daily breakfast (despite reception noting that they would provide juice and barista coffee). The tea/ coffee and milk did not get replenished as part of the room being made up.

Having in room air conditioning that is capped at 25 degrees in a Melbourne winter isn't great. There is the option to physically go to reception and ask for your room aircon to be turned up by them, but I opted to just keep my coat on!

Although, it was a shaky start to our stay (check in issues), we had an enjoyable stay. Close to Southern Cross Station. Walking distance to many tourist spots and shopping. The breakfast was lovely A la Carte style. The room was clean and comfortable. Not much room to put 2 large suitcases without them being in the way. Bathroom was clean. The showerheads were perfect. Very cool modern hotel. Probably not family friendly.

The Quincy was a good basic hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room spotlessly clean. Whilst the room and bathroom were on the small size it was adequate for an overnight stay The staff were all very friendly and helpful The only downside was the noise from the nightclubs on King street as we were on the 6th floor, maybe higher floors don’t have this issue?
