Within five minutes’ stroll of the town’s most popular sights, including Melrose Abbey, Priorwood Gardens and the Trimontium Museum, Eildon View nonetheless feels removed from the bustle with views across to the Eildon Hills and a tranquil shared rear courtyard in which to enjoy meals and drinks al fresco.

Sir Walter Scott’s magical mansion, Abbotswood, is only 1.5 miles away, while the grand stately homes and gardens of Manderston, Mellerstain, Floors Castle and Thirlestane are also easy to reach.
