You get what you pay for

Front desk were pretty rude... we arrived at almost 4pm and the room was not ready for another 30 mins even tho check in starts at noon. The beds were super uncomfortable and the window was left wide open so anyone could have gone into the room

The staff took our money for a 2 bedroom suite then try to had 4 of us stay in a single room that hasnt been cleaned( which i may add burned your nose hairs upon entry with a toilet flooded beyond care.)

If you are looking for an affordable place to stop for the night, this is perfect. We will be back for a place ti stay when passing through. The reviews had us worried but turned out to be way overblown. The road runner is aged and basic, but rather than blowing $100+ for a place to sleep , for $50 it has everything you need. Just keep your expectations in check and ignore all the other comments.

Disgusting !! Broken locks, rotting food in the fridge, no internet unless you're outside, just absolutely disgusting, I cannot believe that you actually have this hotel available on your website, I need to know how to get this place identified by Health Canada as uninhabitable.

Stayed here for one night on our way to Vancouver island. Rooms were very well priced and once we arrived we instantly knew why this was. There was 8 of us total which would end up making one person sleeping on the pullout couch. As soon as we pulled the couch out there was an excessive amount of dirt / dust on the bed sheet and not to mention the pair of underwear and computer mouse found underneath it. The overall cleanliness of this place was definitely not up to my satisfaction and I am an extremely easily pleased person when it comes to this. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Stay clear

This place advertises a lot and delivers little. Yes it’s a cheap place to stay and I didn’t expect much but it was underwhelming. The person greeting me seem surprised I was there to check in. I do not recommend this place. Read all the reviews you can find and there’s is a trend of “we renovated recently” replies and “we’ll offer a refund”. If the owner respond to this review, I don’t want a refund, re-invest into your place and update your amenities description to reflect a truth about of you establishment.

The gentleman who helped us was kind but the older man also living on the property was aggressive. As soon as I walked in he was yelling at his family members and it felt like my business was inconvenient. There were no towels in the room and we felt like we were being watched the entire time. It made for a very uncomfortable stay. If the father figure of the family would step back and allow the son to operate without his input I think they would have more success. It's unfortunate to write a bad review but hopefully the critique will help their business model and lead to more success.

Best place to stay

The owner of this property is extremely friendly and can't do enough for his quests I had a heat problem I contacted him Saturday morning and he was in my room in 30 seconds to take care of the problem he was there in his pajamas did not take the time to dress brought me towels every day I was there for 3 nights every time I saw him he asked me if there was anything he could do for me he is an extremely friendly gentleman will stay there again

Road Runner Motel Fun

Wasn't bad, no bugs, nice kitchenette, air conditioning was amazing, cheap and easy to get to and check in and out. Nice little town with lots of fancy hotels, but our motel was cheap, convenient and clean, I would recommend it for a one night stay. Its on the main road and wasn't busy or noisy which was nice. We ate st the restautant "home" and it was very good, with good prices. Highly recommended.

Old and run down but clean and comfortable

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay and aren't too concerned with aesthetics. I would recommend this place. I found it very clean and the beds were comfortable.
