Property was great and everyone is very nice, but room was extremely hot at night, even with all windows left open, and no hot water for a post-dinner shower. Wish those wouldn't have been issues, bc otherwise this has all the makings of a 5-star experience.

It’s a cute place and it has an amazing history so I am not totally disappointed. However, it’s pretty expensive and the facilities aren’t great as opposed to the price! Hot water isn’t promised so make sure you check the water before settling down in the room :)

The staff was excellent, very kind. The coffee was fantastic, and breakfast had a nice balance of items. The extra touches such as cookies in the room and text communication made us feel welcome and cared for while giving us the privacy and rest we needed. We hope to be back soon!

Everything was great except the breakfast! A breakfast burrito in your room is no substitute for a decent sit down breakfast. This is not in line with four star friendly accommodation and a four star price. No return visit.

My husband was disappointed with the bartender--we were the only two people there. He didn't make any effort to converse or show interest in us; was talking with a female staff member that kept coming in the area. We are from Wisconsin; are used to friendlier bartenders, I guess

The hotel did not inform me properly that the dining room at the restaurant would be closed for dinner and breakfast during my stay. When I complained to the reservations staff about this, they were completely unapologetic, claiming that a text on the day of my arrival was sufficient and that the hotel and restaurtant were completely separate. I was very disappointed -- especailly having been best man at a wedding reception held at the hotel some years ago. I don't intend to go back. I am 81 years old and have travelled extensively throughout the world. This is among the worst experiences I have had.
