Country Meadow is a spacious eight-bedroom colonial home located in the village of Milford—just three miles from Cooperstown Dreams Park and less than a five-minute drive away. Formerly operated as a bed & breakfast, this home is thoughtfully designed to accommodate large groups and families traveling together.

The property features eight bedrooms total, including a unique two-bedroom suite that offers extra space and privacy. Two additional bedrooms are located in a separate side apartment with its own private entrance—perfect for families or groups who want to stay close while enjoying a bit of independence.

The main house offers generous common areas, including a large, fully equipped kitchen with two sinks and two stoves, ideal for preparing meals for a crowd. Gather together in the spacious dining room or relax in the living room, which features a large plasma-screen TV. A separate den provides a desk area, making it easy to stay connected during your stay.

For added convenience, the home includes two sets of washers and dryers, ample off-street parking, and air conditioning throughout—central A/C in the main living areas and window units in the bedrooms.

The house needs work

The house provided plenty of space, linens, comfortable beds, and kitchen supplies. However, we believe more attention should have been given to the overall condition of the house before the "new owners" put it into the rental pool (to capture rental income during the 2024 Coppertown/Dreams Park season). We experienced plumbing problems; the AC unit not working, and a few other minor yet annoying issues with the house. Though Josh was quick to respond to all our concerns, having two maintenance workers in the house for the better part of two of the five (full) days we were in the house was intrusive. The house itself is located close to Dreams Park and offers enjoyable lawn space: a firepit, seating, and a maintained pool. We were not sure of the source of the dairy/cow/pasture odor that was present, yet the abundance of house flies suggests somewhere nearby. This leads to the importance of having all window screens intact and the lack of seals around the doors and windows addressed. Though it is important to note the house is on Septic, noting the cost is not necessary and rude. If you want the guests to take out the trash and the recycling, it would be wise to have both a trash and recycling container in each kitchen. Then post a notice specific to which outdoor container/dumpster is for what. When we arrived previous guests had used the smaller outdoor bin for trash, not just recycling. (we couldn't reach the bottom to pull out the bag of trash). Hope this helps

Cooperstown Baseball Stay

The house was perfect! Plenty of rooms for our group, big kitchen and dining room for all of us. The kids had a blast in the pool and the adults enjoyed hanging out on the patio. The proximity to Cooperstown Dreams was so convenient and easy to get back and forth. We will be staying here again when we come back in a few years!!
