The custom built, Laurel Escape, is a luxury cabin that will give you all the privacy you need to leave the real world behind. The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and the adjoining bathroom boasts a gorgeous tile shower.

Prepare your meals in the fully equipped kitchen with its stainless appliances and granite countertops and then retire to the screened porch to relax.

Outside you will find the hot tub, which is the perfect way to end your day.

Laurel Escape is centrally located to put you within 20 minutes of Blue Ridge, Georgia or Murphy, North Carolina, home of the new Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino. Within half an hour, you can be in Tennessee, visiting the beautiful Ocoee River. Come visit Laurel Escape…we promise…you won’t be disappointed! Nearby attractions include hiking the beautiful trails of North Georgia, biking, Antique Shopping, White Water Rafting, Horseback Riding, Scenic Train Rides and the famous Swan Drive In. We had a wonderful time relaxation and rejuvenation at this 2 person cabin! The property is secluded, but is also close (15-20 minute drive) to restaurants, shops, and entertainment. The hosts were very responsive, and check-in/check-out were simple. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Escape

Laurel Escape was very relaxing, clean, and has very nice details. We saw some kind of weasel, lots of deer, a bear, lots of birds, and the neighbors have some pretty horse. Being there puts you in a good mood upon arrival. The hot tub was very nice, everything we needed was in the kitchen, laundry, high quality appliances. It was like staying in a peaceful treehouse all week.

Beautiful & Relaxing, But the Bed Needs an Upgrade

This romantic cabin getaway was everything we hoped for—extremely clean, well-located, and stocked with all the essentials for a stress-free retreat. The modern rustic design was stunning, both inside and out, and the cabin looked exactly like it did in the listing. It's also a great location for nearby outings and events.However, the biggest downside was the bed. Unfortunately, it was incredibly firm—so much so that we woke up with severe back pain and body aches. By our final night, we even purchased a mattress topper from Walmart and put on top of the sheets, but it barely helped. Exhausted, we ended up completing the checkout list at dawn to head home early.If the mattress were upgraded, this cabin would be absolutely perfect. Until then, we’d hesitate to book again, but for those who prefer an extra-firm bed, this place is a dream!
