Getting right into it, front staff was horrible to deal with, specifically these two women. I had initially booked this hotel 2 weeks ago with the plan on going with just my lady. Last minute changes, my mother decided to tag along. I had called the day before to ask if I can switch from a king bed to two queen beds. The person I had spoken to over the phone said this was alright and that we dont have to do the reservation over the phone, I can just come down and we will make the switch then. We drove down 7 hours from Winnipeg and low and behold, as I was checking in, there were no rooms available for the switch to happen. I get it, it was labour day weekend, the rooms filled up. But it was the lack of solutions and help that really put me off. She kept saying there was nothing she can do for me, even if there were rooms available there was nothing she could do. Im like ok, is there a sofa atleast in the room? They had no clue what was and wasnt included in the room. One decided to join in the conversation and said they cant sleep on that because it was just meant for sitting. I would have never guessed! Every answer they gave me provided no help and it was me just trying to find solutions for myself. Its like they wanted my poor mother to sleep on the ground. I felt like WE had to do the figuring out instead of them trying to accommodate us. Came back later and was met by another gentleman who saved the day. I would write
