- Sidewalks and front steps weren’t scooped of snow- The house does not sleep 8, only beds for 6 and a single air mattress- Supposed to take the trash out but the sidewalks to the cans hadn’t been scooped of snow- Not enough full sized towels left for everyone (assumed 8)- Extra bedding, assuming people were to sleep on couches, was not readily available- Fixtures, such as lights in a shower, didn’t work

Perfect home for our family Thanksgiving, from the kitchen to make our favorite meals to the dining table to bring us all together. The home was clean and very comfortable. All the amenities provided made our stay so much nicer. We experienced the first real snow storm while there and we were warm and cozy. The life-size games were perfect for my grandson. He was very happy. The home is located in a nice safe neighborhood which was close to everything we wanted to see for attractions. You would need a car to get there. Parking is conveniently located on the street in front of the house. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we find ourselves in the Minneapolis area.

Pros - Check-in and checkout was very simple, communication with the host was fast, location was great for us, water pressure and temperature in the shower that worked was good Cons - Location has the ability to sleep 8, but didn't have bedding for the 2 who sleep on the couch or air mattress. Tv did not turn on. Larger bathroom shower did not work and the sink doesn't have a stopper. Multiple lights were out in the basement making the game room dark.

The host was very responsive. That was the highlight. The property far fell short of expectations. Lawn was poorly maintained. Garbage was by the front door. Indoors the first floor shower didn’t work and there was no stopper in sink. And basement “theater” didn’t have an extension cord to plug in projector. And very musty. Perhaps at 150 a night but not how you have it priced. Not sure how rating can be this high.

Family Getaway

This property is in a quite neighborhood and is tastefully decorated. The downtown area is easily accessed from here. The beds were very comfortable. The hostess was easily contacted. If we’re in the area again, this will definitely be considered.

This property has some positive attributes, but overall, it does not hold value for the money. It is also worth noting that we reached out to the host about our concerns during our stay and found the host to be unreceptive. Pros: - The "closing duties" were very minimal and reasonable. - The water pressure is good. - Beds are generally comfortable. - The location is generally quiet, feels safe, and is close to cute shopping, eating, and parks. - The property, while worn, was generally clean indoors. (See notes about outdoors below).Cons: - The outdoor area is completely unusable. The firepit listed in the title of this property was full of water and green growth. It was rusted out. The firepit area was overgrown and inaccessible without walking through tall growth. The chairs were all too dirty to sit on. - There was a broken, jagged, trellis in the backyard, which could be unsafe if you had children in the yard. - There were no yard games, as listed in the Title of the property. Although there were various beanbags strewn throughout the yard, there was no game present. This property title is very misleading given the state of the property.- Of the 6 dining chairs, only 3 are usable. One was cracked and so slanted it could not be sat on. Others were wobbly and crooked. We had to bring in a chair from the office area in order to use the dining table for our guest count. - There was a lack of linens-- there was one hand towel for the kitchen, no obvious wash cl

Was an amazing place to stay!

The check-in process was smooth, and the house was clean and matched the description. Overall was a delightful stay! We could not enjoy the outside due to the rain, but the seating area on the deck looked comfortable.

Nice cozy spot

The house was nice. It was a little smaller than we excepted, but it still worked for our needs. Good location. It was easy to get downtown. Neighborhood felt safe. Our kids really enjoyed the basketball hoop!
