Loved the convenience of this hotel. Could walk to restaurants and shopping. Parking was easy and hotel was clean and the staff was wonderful. Also had a nice breakfast that was included.

Great location - heart of Fairhope downtown. Housekeeping supposed be every other day, we stayed 3 nights but no housekeeping visit. Hotel is nice but desperetly need renovation/ touch up

I was shocked at how worn down this Hampton Inn was. Bedroom (#327) furniture were scuffed and banged up. The chairs were stained. The lobby had peeling vinyl banquet chairs. Frankly, ive seen nicer furnishings at Goodwill. floors were dirty and carpets matted & sticky. The only good things are the location & TG the bath towels were clean.

I used to live in Fairhope and saw the facility being built. I guess it ha been there at least 15 years and it needs total Reno. We had a small suit and it was dark and dingy facing an alley. The bed had a wood sheet under the mattress that was off kilter. On my wife’s side it stuck south and bumped her as she got in the bed. My side was well under the mattress, and I my side sloped down so I was always trying to Scott over to lay flat. The toilet was really old and so low it was a drop to sit and difficult to get up. In general, there were boxes stacked in the hall br the front deduce that grew while we were there and we say workmen here and there on several days. Chairs in the breakfast room err so worn if you set in some of them you were well below the table. In general, our room was musty. I usually never complain, but this is the only down town lodging in the center of Fairhope . $200 hundred a note isn’t a large amount, but for a Hilton property it was one We would never return to. Needs an overall renovation.

The room tv was not working so they move us to another room no apologies they have me go to the receptionist to get the new card the new room tv remote did not work the a/c thermostat did not work one of the lights by the bed did not work the ice maker for the floor did not work the room bathroom cabinets the paint was peeling the wall paper was peeling the curtains has holes the pool was close The over all experience was terrible the only thing good about the hotel is the location but everything is old and it needs to be updated for the price that we where charge I was definitely expecting so much better

Attempted Unauthorized housekeeping room entry

Good location and stay was going well, until 8am on my check out day. When the housekeeping opened my door and tried to enter the room, slamming the door against the latch lock, startling everyone awake, including our 6 month old. We confirmed with the front desk, that we were not checked out or on the list for them to clean. And our do not disturb sign was on the handle. Could it have been a mistake, sure. Could it also have been a weirdo trying to do who knows, it’s possible. I won’t be staying here again. Also their pool was out of service.

Old and run down. 1st room assigned to us smelled and was dark. Requested another room and the TV did not work, I called front desk and she advised maintenance had left for the day and would return 10:00 a.m. next day. Nice area, but the facility is old and run down.

The property is VERY TIRED. The upholstered benches in the dining area were ripped to shreds, the ceiling tiles were falling, the wallpaper in the bathroom peeling... The maids cart remained in the hallway outside our room the entire time except for when the housekeepers were cleaning the rooms...and we were there 4 nights. The one good thing about the property is the location.

We stated there several times in the past month. It's the perfect location for an Eastern shore visit and Fairhope specifically. The service is excellent. We encountered a room issue whuch was resolved very quickly by the competent staff.
