The staff helped us with information about the hop on hop off bus location. The staff made our reservations for the Madero dinner and tango show. Were pick up and dropped off in front of the hotel. After all we are 78 years old ladies traveling alone. Great experience.The location is 1 block from the mall. Taxis were very inexpensive.

water bottles are a scam

The main reception staff was fine, but there was one guy who seemed annoyed with his job. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was ok but I wished for more healthy or vegetable options. The water bottles in the fridge are a scam, no room sign with prices or advice from staff that these even cost money - I've stayed in hotels in 80 countries and hotels have either a paid mini fridge with lots of products, or they offer complimentary water. It's not right that they only tell you these are not included when you leave.

Poor value in a very bad area

When I checked in I asked to have a twin room as a friend was joining me. I was told the would take 10 minutes but took closer to half an hour. 30 my minutes to change a booking? The door to my room had a hole under the handle and I had to frig the handle before I could lock it on leaving. There was no safe in the room. There was a total lack of electrical points in the room. The one that there was had an adaptor that ran three devices from it. The bathroom door was badly warped and the were large piece of black dust that had been blown from the air conditioning onto the second bed. Breakfast was average and the lifts were something from a 1930s French film. The area surrounding the hotel is pretty grim but you could say that about Montevideo as a whole

Quarto pequeno, um pouco empoeirado. Não me importo que a estrutura seja antiga, mas acredito que isso não pode impactar no conforto, visual e momento de descanso! Não é um local que é possível trabalhar, pois no quarto que me hospedei não tinha espaço para isso. O café da manhã é agradável, mas passei apenas uma noite. Não achei a cama tão confortável, e a manta na cama, não trazia a sensação de ter sido trocada para a minha entrada, além de estar desfiada pelo tempo de uso!
