The Tides, 3 bed house Morecambe

A traditional fisherman’s cottage with a luxurious and modern twist.
Situated in the Poulton-Le-Sands area of Morecambe, you are 2 minutes from the beach, 2 minutes
from the town centre, 15 minutes from Lancaster, and 30 minutes from the Lake District, and the Trough of Bowland.

Every detail has been considered, so all you need to do is take off your coat, mix yourself a drink, and relax.
Look forward to beach walks, the sea air, and on its day, the best sunsets in the world.
The house is set over 3 floors, very spacious and bathed in natural light.
The living room has comfy couches and a flat-screen TV with Sky and Netflix.
The house is set up to sleep 6 but should you want a week by the seaside for 2 families of 4, the couch can double up as a sofa bed. (this facility is by arrangement only as we will need to put in the extra bedding)

From the front room you walk through into the large family kitchen, with everything you need to make your fresh morning coffee, a light brunch of poached eggs on toast, to a full Sunday lunch if you’re feeling adventurous. There is a dishwasher and washing machine in the kitchen.

Carrying on, we then walk into the dining room with extensive windows and French doors opening onto the patio. The rear elevation faces south, so is bathed in sunshine all day and into the early evening. The dining table is set for 6 but it’ll accommodate 8 if you’re happy cuddling up.
There’s a cocktail area and a freezer stocked with ice.

From the dining room it’s out onto the patio with more seating should you want to work on your tan.
And if you’ve had enough sun for one day it’s a short walk to the bottom of the garden where you can sit in the shade of a mature sycamore.


The staircase leads you onto the first floor, where we have the master bedroom, perfect for snoozing late in King size luxury.

Across the hallway is a large family bathroom, with a walk-in shower and a double-ended bath should you want to share the bubbles.

On the second floor there are two further bedrooms; a twin room and a double room both very generous in size.

Guests have full access to the entire property. There is a private front entrance and a patio doors at the rear which give access to the private patio and garden area. The house is set over 3 floors and the front door is up 2 steps so the house would not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

If you have any issues during your stay please call John or Paula and they will be happy to help. John is a local joiner so is frequently in the area.
