Clean and comfortable stay

I was debating between the BW opposite this place and so glad i chose Blufftop Inn. The rooms have been renovated. They are modern, and very functional. Loved the lighting, the extended counter tops for space and the bathroom. New and cool fixtures and a very calm, beachy vibe. The only issue we had was with the AC which someone didnt seem to cool the room and it felt a little bit hot during the night. Location is fantastic and you can walk to the pier and many restaurants within a 5 minute walk. 5 stars and highly recommend.

This property was lovely, very nice room. Very clean and comfortable had everything we needed. For a motel this is one of the cleanest we have been to. Location was absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

i don't know what more it needs to be considered 3+ stars! the place was super clean, like super clean! bathroom, bedding, everything just perfect! Staff? Awesome, very friendly!! so polite! we were in town for the Morro Bay car show and will definitely stay there next year!!

I ended up in the emergency room. I was unable to make my trip. I called the property all morning until 10:45am but no one would answer so I emailed and let them know my situation. I received an email from Emily, signed as Blufftop Management at 7:15pm that said she was sorry about my situation and since I paid through Expedia she was not in control of the charge. I contacted Expedia to see if there was any way to get a refund as the emergency medical situation was out of my control and they said they would contact Blufftop to get approval for the refund. Expedia contacted me frequently to keep me in the loop and the reps were sympathetic to my situation. I felt like they were truly my advocates and I appreciate that. Blufftop would not budge on their cancellation refund policy. So not only is no one answering their phones but their management lies to push issues on to someone else. I live nearby so I frequently have opportunities to come to California and had they been flexible i would have returned the favor by staying there next time. They chose not to show kindness. Would not recommend just based on service.
