Cypress Cottage is a cozy home sits that directly on the inlet and offers beautiful sunsets, while also being just a two-minute walk from the beach. Close to dozens of golf courses, the Marsh Walk, Brookgreen Gardens, surfing, the pier, and fishing—everything you need is here! Situated 15 minutes south of Myrtle Beach, we are away from the hustle and bustle in a family-friendly beach community. This area is the perfect mix of beach life and tranquility, with a quieter, family-oriented atmosphere. Nearby, you'll find The Causeway Grill, the Pier Grill, pizza spots, Yum Yums, and more. We are only 0.2 miles from the Garden City Pier, with plenty of fun activities within walking distance. If you've stayed at Cypress Cottage before, come check out the recent improvements!

For outdoor enthusiasts, there's a nearby pier fishing, charter fishing, mini-golf, Huntington Beach Park, Atalaya Castle, major golf courses, an arcade, sports bars, and the beautiful Brookgreen Gardens. The famous Marsh Walk at Murrells Inlet is nearby and offers the best seafood and nightlife around. Bring your clubs and enjoy the wide variety of golf courses in the area.

Cypress Cottage is a traditional raised beach home with a newly renovated first floor, completed in 2023. It's comfortable and more spacious than expected, but still has that cozy, beachy charm. The four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home comfortably accommodates up to 10 people, with room for 13. Nearly every window offers inlet views. After a day on the beach, enjoy the enclosed outdoor shower with both hot and cold water to wash off the sand. The fully stocked kitchen includes all appliances and cookware, and both a Keurig and a traditional Mr. Coffee-style coffee pot for your morning coffee. Sliding glass doors lead to a pergola-covered terrace with additional seating. The deck runs across the length of the house and features lounge chairs and a charcoal grill. You'll also find board games, playing cards, and books in the bookcase—feel free to swap a book if you'd like to discover a new author. The backyard offers a sunbathing patio and a shaded area under a 100-year-old cypress tree. Please note that Cypress Cottage has Wi-Fi, Roku streaming devices (with free Roku selections and Disney streaming), and DVD players in two upstairs bedrooms.

Room Layout:

First Floor: There are two bedrooms, both connected to a shared full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed, and the other features a queen bed along with a bunk bed setup. Each bedroom has a TV, as does the living room. All TVs are Smart TVs with Roku attached, so you can access free Roku selections, Netflix, and Disney. The living room, kitchen, and dining area provide ample space, with seating for eight at the dining table and four at a round kitchen table. There is also a small drop-leaf table for four. The front and back decks, along with the covered pergola, offer outdoor seating. The living room sofa doubles as a queen sleeper, with linens stored in the dining hutch. A pack-n-play and high chair are also available on the first floor.

Second Floor: This floor has two additional bedrooms. One is a large room with a king bed, and the other has a double bed with two single beds. Both TVs are equipped with DVD players and Roku (for free Roku selections, Netflix, and Disney). The recently remodeled second-floor bathroom is accessible from the hallway.

Other Notes: Please be aware that abnormal weather events can occasionally cause higher-than-normal tides, which may result in water reaching the street and yard in front of the house. This could affect street parking, but the driveway can accommodate at least three vehicles. There are additional free parking options nearby if needed. This property is small dog friendly.
