Ok, the people I encountered at the Beachcomber were fine. The location is very good. HOWEVER, the place is a dive. In fact, I must have been the only person to know this because we were the ONLY people staying in this motel. If you are fine staying in a dump of a place, then have at it. We paid for 4 days/3 nights, but only stayed one night because of the circumstances. No refund given. Went up the street about 1/2 mile and got a really nice place to stay!
Rental office closed renovating but still trying to rent rooms..roaches unsafe unoccupied building.. had to put all our luggage on the bed so we wouldn't get roaches to take back home pictures on the internet was nothing like where we stay false advertisement
We booked in advance. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to move the reservation out by one day. We spoke with a hotel.com agent who contacted the hotel. The hotel told them they could not find a reservation under my name nor reservation number. But then proceeded to charge my credit card two days later. Hotel.com said they would continue working on the process. Then said not to worry cause they have no record of us. Then emailed me to tell me the hotel refused to refund or move us (though it was already too late to move the date)…. You couldn’t find my reservation to move us, but yet found us to charge us AND say you can’t help us?? So now I have to dispute with my credit card company. We found another hotel up the road (cheaper and nicer anyways). Discovered the beach pictures this hotel is using is NOT THEIRS. They belong to the hotel we’re currently in.
nasty property. moldy rooms, cockroaches literally everywhere.. it was seriously unbelievable how many.
homeless people sleeping in stairwell/hallways. trash piled everywhere. no elevators.

The room in general was good the bed was comfortable I slept well.The bad was no hot water for a day,the humidifier leaked water overnight so I woke up to a soaked floor and the TV channels were awful the guide channels didn't match the TV channels

The path to the beach wasn’t taken care of. It was hard to get through. The gates to the pool were also broken:m. And their was an accumulation of trash next to the garbages on the levels (cigarettes, papers). However, inside the room I have no complaints. The ocean view, clean and comfy beds! Only the sofa was ripped, broken and stained. For the price I would stay here again.
The room was horrible! We found a spider in the bed, the front door was so bad that light came in around the door. The gap was so big you could put you fingers in between the door and the frame. The crown molding was coming off wall. The gaps were huge. You could see wiring behind the molding. The baseboards were in terrible shape. Big hunks were missing. The lights near the bed didn't work. The ceiling fixture looked like it was going to fall from the ceiling. The floor was damaged, ironing board was present but no iron. This was the worst room I've ever seen. Don't be deceived by the pictures shown on their website. This place is terrible. Oh... there was a broken water pipe right outside our room spewing water the entire time we were there.
The most important thing was the staff Shamaya & Jeneira they were very professional & helpful and kind.
Our room was ok it was clean no odor we had penalty of towels & washcloths there were a few bugs (roaches). My personal feeling was the bed was to soft for me.
We had a side view of the ocean n a nice bench in front.
Its was a nice location and not far from the besch at all. But the cleanliness and maybe some repairs to the building would be suggested. We did have a few roaches in our room which we know is common for the area so maybe some traps or exterminator should be an idea.
