Beautiful property! Beautiful room. Even better that is literally maybe one minute to the beach. Beautiful view, beautiful location, beautiful staff. I really don’t have any complaints or any warnings. Everything was excellent by me for sure.

vintage vibe

I was looking for a cheaper place to stay. We were visiting family and were not spending time in the room or on the beach. I have a thing for Vintage Motels too. I loved the old pool which was very clean even in the winter. Our room was a bit old feeling and not in the good vintage way. However I arrived in the right frame of mind and was happy with the accommodations. The sheets looked extra clean. We brought our own pillows and a blanket to put on each bed. I felt fine and had a gorgeous view of the ocean that came with a fantastic sunrise. It seemed some high school kids were hanging out on the steps and plugging their phones to charge Sat night but they weren't threatening. The Staff was extra nice. I'd stay again but the key was having my own pillows and blanket!

I really enjoyed my stay at this facility. It is pet friendly right on the ocean. It was very convenient and my two fur babies had a great time. The staff are friendly and accommodate your needs. I look forward to returning.

The owner and staff of the Vancouver were outstanding! The hotel is on the beach with fantastic sunrise views. Vancouver allows pets for a small fee, which is great if you travel with a furry friend. My room was clean and featured a coffee machine, microwave, and small fridge-perfect if you are out and about during the day, but if you're interested in comfy side chairs for reading and streaming, room service, etc., this may not be the place for you. That said, I'd stay at the Vancouver again

Beautiful motel

This hotel was wonderful. We had a room ocean side which was awesome. It was also very dog friendly. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and having a kitchenette was amazing. We recommend it and would stay again

Don't think of it as dated, think of it as "vintage beach motel vibes." Yes this is an older property, but everywhere you look, you seen evidence of the owners and staff doing the very best they can with what they have. Housekeeping and cleaning of common areas was flawless. Check in/out was clear and quick. Joey at the reception desk is a total rockstar, going out of his way to resolve any issue or accommodate any request. Location strikes a good balance between being close enough to attractions to be convenient, but just far enough removed to get some peace and quiet at night. Maybe I wouldn't take my bride here for our honeymoon, but for my family's purposes on quickie weekend getaway, the Vancouver was just what the doctor ordered!

Clean except for A slug on the main room floor along with some small bugs was a little disconcerting. Beds and linens seemed old and not the most comfortable and towels were pretty small and not the best. It was awesome that they didn't have a size restriction on the dog and a reasonable pet fee. Water pressure was low, which made it difficult to rinse sand. Great beach access!

Reception desk was very accommodating . Room was average regarding beds , bathroom stuff, TV and sitting area. Perfect for me as I was only staying overnight near the airport in order to catch my flight home after a week of playing golf with a bunch of my buddies.

Hard, uncomfortable bed was surprising - thought everyone had updated mattresses by now. Floor was sticky, bathroom had hair in shower and on toilet. A cheap, off-season room, sure, but no excuse for this condition

Check in was quick and staff was very friendly. Rooms are a little older but clean. Some of the electrical plugs weren't working but we made do. Its beachfront, they allow dogs, nice sized fridge and overall had a wonderful stay.

You get what you pay for. Budget friendly hotel that’s on the beach and isn’t completely disgusting. Still a little outdated, paint peeling, rust, clogged drains, handprints on walls and pictures? It was ok. Pet fee needs to be upfront and shared on their site and other booking sites, completely undisclosed and a bit of a surprise to pay an almost extra $100. Beach and surrounding areas are nice.

Good for the price

It’s a small cheap hotel, what can I say. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Everything is old and worn out, but clean. Everything worked. For the price it was pretty good.
