Peaceful Mystic Retreat Near River & Rails

The studio is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located near the Mystic River and railroad tracks, while also just a very short drive into town. The occasional train adds charm without being disruptive. The rental was spotless, well-stocked, and a relaxing place to unwind after exploring Mystic. It was great for a quiet, convenient getaway. We can't wait to come back again!

Beautiful Spot!

This place was beautiful! From the inside to the outside. Perfect for me and the kids! The space was clean and very roomie! Had everything we could need for the kitchen and everything else!! Such a nice area/location to stay as well. Right on the water. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Mystic!! Thank you!!

Perfect size for our weekend getaway!

We came to town for the weekend Christmas festivities in Mystic. We wanted more space than a hotel room and this was perfect for the four of us (2 adults, 18 and 11 year old.) We loved having a water view and we love the trains! A nice touch was the coffee provided by the owners as they are also local coffee roasters. It is about a mile walk to town but we enjoyed it, even in the cold. Communication with the owners was quick and easy, too. We would definitely come back in the future.

West Mystic is the best

Great location, with easy walking access to Willow Point and downtown Mystic. Mystic Market has great food, and Noank is only a mile away. Great getaway!

Wonderful week in Mystic

We just spent a wonderful week at this beautiful loft! The location was perfect… close to all the attractions and amenities in the area, yet a quiet spot along the river to relax and unwind. The loft was perfect for our needs. Immaculate, comfortable and with all the amenities you could ask for in a rental. Lisa and Jonathan were welcoming and always available if we needed anything. We also looked forward to the train coming by. It was a fun part of our week. We look forward to many return visits.

Excellent location and clean!

We really enjoyed our stay - the host was responsive, helpful, and welcoming. This was our second stay. The place is clean, parking easy, view amazing. My kids liked the stairs (we don't have a staircase at home) Lol. It was so helpful to have a full kitchen with everything we needed, and washer dryer and easy everything. There is close access to beaches, ready-to-eat food, and nice places to go running in the morning. We look forward to staying here again!

Totally enjoyed our stay here. Only 3 min drive to downtown mystic. Great view of water. FYI - the train is only a couple of cars and goes so fast you barely hear it. I would recommend staying here!

A cozy get away

We stayed here as part of a road trip through the northeast. The property is perfect for a couple that wants to unwind for a few days. Beautiful views of the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very well appointed and had everything you would need including a dedicated parking space. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was amazing to wake up to that beautiful view each morning. Windows galore with tons of natural light It's a very quick drive in to town where all the shops and restaurants are. You do have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the apartment. This was no issue for us but if someone in your party has mobility issues or you have small children, you'll need to take this into consideration. Should we come through Mystic again, we'll definitely try to book this property. A big thank you to the hosts!!

Really clean and welcoming space !! The view is incredible. There are commuter trains that go by right in front of the windows but they are really quick and not that loud. Bathroom is clean and nice shower. So great to have a washer dryer right in the unit. For a couple this space is perfect. You can walk to all the restaurants and shops and yet it feels private and secluded. Highly recommend. I am hoping we can return .

Downtown shopping and eating is within walking or biking distance. Beautiful view and was never bothered by the train. Coffee in the morning was supplied by The Host and was excellent.

Pictures don't do it justice

This is a private loft with no shared walls. It is much brighter and lighter than the pictures show. The queen size bed faces the river and has a beautiful view when you wake up. The kitchen has ample room with the island and seating. There is lots of equipment to do any cooking that you need. The blowup mattresses were great for our 14 and 16 year old. Everyone loved staying here. And its just a short drive to anything we wanted to do. As someone mentioned in another review, you just drive down the driveway and it is the last property that you will come to. Easy parking . And yes. The coffee was amazing! I wish we could’ve purchased some more to take home with us

Wonderful little spot!

We loved staying in this gorgeous space! It was perfect for our family, and so clean and easy. It was really helpful to have laundry on site and the kids could be a little noisy without bothering anyone with no shared walls. The AC was really wonderful in the high heat and humidity weather and proximity to the mystic market was great for treats and good food! 10/10 would stay there again.
