Back at the house, eight bedrooms and 5,000 square feet of well-appointed living space makes Pelican Pelican Pelican the perfect choice for multiple or extended families. An elevator that goes all the way from the ground level to the top floor is ideal for guests with mobility needs and makes checking in and out hassle-free. Skip the stairs and use it to send luggage and groceries to the upper floors. The main gathering space on the top level was designed for entertaining and spending time with loved ones, with a two-story wall of east-facing windows showcasing the panoramic ocean views. The living area leads out to an oceanfront deck where you can catch the sunrise with your morning coffee, watch your family play in the pool below, or simply take in the salty ocean breezes. When it's time to eat, embrace your inner chef using the expansive kitchen with large island for plenty of prep space. Or grab a drink and head over to the Sunset Lounge on the west side of the top floor where you can admire the dazzling skies in the evenings. One of the seven ensuite bedrooms is also located on the top level and includes a private bath with walk-in shower and dual vanity. On the mid-level you'll find five more ensuite bedrooms, two of which are ocean-facing with deck access, as well as a convenient coffee bar with mini fridge. Two more bedrooms are located downstairs, along with a rec room that can serve as an additional hangout space. Between the shuffleboard table, bumper pool and arcade game, everyone in your group can flex their skills or discover a talent they never knew they had. The ground level kitchenette is equipped with a full-size fridge for storing extra groceries, refilling your drink without having to go upstairs, or grabbing a snack to enjoy poolside. The fabulous backyard oasis is located just outside the rec room and features a stunning 30' x 14' private pool and cabana. After a refreshing dip in the pool, make your way into the bubbly hot tub for a soak! Located at Milepost 19.5 where the beaches are wide and uncrowded, Pelican Pelican Pelican offers the tranquility of the slower-paced South Nags Head area while still being close to grocery stores, shopping and dining. Walk or bike to the Outer Banks Fishing Pier and Fish Head's Bar and Grill, just ¾ of a mile north of the house, where you can savor delicious food and refreshing drinks while enjoying live music and a stunning ocean view. Or take a short drive south to Coquina Beach and the 4x4 beaches, which are cherished local spots for fishing and surfing. If you're up for more adventure, you can explore the iconic Bodie Island Lighthouse or embark on a ferry ride to Ocracoke for an unforgettable day trip.
