Welcome to The Mullet, a relaxing holiday home in walking distance to eateries, beaches and shops.
This Holiday home is a split-level design. Upstairs is the main living area with a fully renovated and equipped kitchen; open plan dining and lounge; one bedroom with a King size bed; a generous size bathroom and a laundry with washing machine and dryer.
The downstairs level is via an external stairwell. It has two good sized bedrooms. The front bedroom with water views, has a queen bed and the back bedroom has both a single bed and a king single bed.
Also, downstairs is a living area, bathroom, washing machine facilities and a kitchenette for boiling the kettle and making the toast.
If a fifth bed is required, one of the upstairs lounges is a quality fold out sofa bed and linen can be provided on request.
Other facilities that are included upstairs are a microwave; BBQ; WIFI; Pod Coffee Machine; TVs both upstairs and downstairs and ceiling fans throughout.
Toiletries are NOT provided, please bring your own products, for example soap, shampoo etc.
The property has a split air condition unit both upstairs and downstairs.
Nambucca Heads boasts a great community spirit, which is reflected in its user-friendly boardwalks, outdoor sculptures, playgrounds, bike friendly paths and picnic areas.
There is the beautiful Shelly Beach with it shade trees; the Main Beach which has the Club Cafe and lifeguards on duty; dog friendly beach and the picturesque Nambucca River estuary which is great for stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing and swimming.
Eateries include Matilda’s; V Wall Pub; Wharf Street Café; Island Golf Club; Good Time Charlies; RSL and many more.

The amenities on the top floor were above average and the house was neat and clean. However, the advertising of this property was obscure. The lack of air conditioning was the biggest issue. The three days we were at Nambucca Heads, the temp was in the high 30s and the humidity was oppressive. The house was hot, day and night. Contrary to the information booklet provided, there was no ocean sea breeze. The cut Mullet is a long way from the ocean. The heat was unbearable in the bottom unit. May I suggest the owners install new air conditioning on the first and second floor as a priority. Airconditioning in the ground floor unit is essential. The conditions on the ground floor were not good enough, considering the amount of money charged for this accommodation. The lack of air conditioning in the main bedroom on the top floor was ineffective. The hot conditions spoiled what should have been a special trip for us. On the bright side, the agent managing this accommodation was polite and helpful. After two days, a representative helped us to relocate a portable air conditioner from the top floor to the bottom floor which was helpful.

We enjoyed the stay. Very convenient for all the family to stay together.A fridge on the lower level would have allowed for some separate time late at night for cup of tea or early breakfast. The overall facilities were great and the kitchen fully functional. Thanks for the stay.

Our stay at Riverside Haven was nice and relaxing. The property is well maintained and in a great location. Sitting on the balcony and watching the sunset is just one of many things to do. Within walking distance to 2 clubs, there is also a lot of fishing spots to choose from. We are looking forward to staying there again.
