There was one rolling chair at a desk and one chair in a corner - a little round table to eat at or play cards would have been nice as the rules were don’t move the furniture and the desk would not easily move any way. The bed was very comfortable. There was my husband and myself - we would have enjoyed having a little round table!

Overall the hotel was excellent. Easy walk to the excellent waterfront area. The on-site restaurant is great for breakfast. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy after dark.

Much more affordable than hotels closer to the water. Short walk downhill to the waterfront and restaurants. Most nearer the hotel seemed to be closed by 8, but it was a Monday. The hotel is clean, and your car is safe. Some groups of people hanging around in the night on the streets heading to the waterfront. The waterfront itself seems to have less of these types hanging around. Good breakfast/brunch spot in the hotel.

After staying at a different Quality Inn in Victoria a few days early, one of the things I LOVED about my room in Nanaimo was the darkening shades - helps with sleep so much. Nanaimo is a quiet city but this hotel is walking distance to some decent restaurants and bars.

Parking situation is concerning. Very little underground parking. Area around has no security . Otherwise good hotel, good service, clean rooms. Just be weary of the parking situation

The hotel is okay; clean and the room is spacious. What I didn’t like at all was that after coming back from a long day, the room wasn’t made. It was a Sunday, so I called reception and nobody answered. I went downstairs and the person at the reception said we should have mentioned we wanted the room to be made. Who would not want the room to be made? Also, the mattress is as soft as it can be. If you can’t sleep on a soft mattress, don’t stay here.

This was my second stay here because it was worth returning to. It is clean, bright, quiet, and well- appointed in a sleek modern style. It's situated in a historic neighborhood undergoing gentrification; there are some interesting shops and good restaurants nearby.

Nice hotel with specious rooms, has everything we need for comfortable stay for 4 days. Especially love the bed, clean and soft sheets, comfortable pillows and mattress. Room has microwave and fridge, coffee machine and iron, location is nice, close to ferry. Staff was pleasant and communicative, helpful. We stayed here before and would like come back again.

The front staff was absolutely amazing helping us with an early check in. Our room was clean, comfortable and extremely quiet. Our only complaint would be the limited underground parking when the hotel is full. Otherwise a lovely place to stay at a reasonable price.
