Named after the family’s fishing boat that once combed the Island’s coast, this is a place to gather, explore, and unwind. Hunt for beach treasures, share stories, splash in the pool or the ocean, or relax after a day of adventures in the mid-island area with Qualicum Beach, Coombs, Parksville and Nanaimo only a short drive away.
Welcome to PACIFIC COMBER, an oceanfront escape at Pacific Shores Resort in Nanoose Bay, BC — lovingly named in memory of Dad`s beloved 1946 fishing boat. A “comber” is someone who searches the shoreline in pursuit of something meaningful. Whether you’re looking for rest, reconnection, or adventure, you`ll find it here. This top-floor waterfront condo offers uninterrupted views of the Salish Sea. With beach access just steps away, you can explore tide pools, kayak the shoreline, or enjoy sunset walks without leaving the property.
A bright living area with skylights and large windows brings the outdoors in, creating a peaceful, coastal atmosphere. The master bedroom features a king bed, a queen bed in the second bedroom and the pull-out sofa adds flexibility for groups up to 6. The condo is thoughtfully stocked with everyday essentials, making it easy to settle in and feel at home. Fast Wi-Fi supports remote work, if needed.
After a day of beachcombing or paddleboarding, curl up by the gas fireplace or slip into the ensuite tub, where a two-way fireplace shared with the primary suite adds a touch of coastal luxury. As this is part of a shared resort building, you may occasionally hear sounds from neighboring suites or the A-side.
No Pets Permitted.
Food & Drink:
Guests are kindly asked to take all leftover food and beverages with them upon departure.
Shellfish Policy:
Live shellfish are strictly prohibited in the building. Guests who violate this rule will be subject to fines as per strata regulations.
Pool Towels:
Pool towels are provided in the suite for your convenience. The front desk does not supply pool towels to guests.
Amenity Keycard:
The amenity keycard must be returned to the suite before check-out. If the card is not returned, a $200 replacement fee will be charged. Please note that the front desk does not issue or replace amenity keycards.
