Very disappointed in this Hampton Inn. The staff seemed to have little pride in their work (the place was filthy) and a toxic work culture. Any person we encountered in the hallways or on the elevator was not welcoming or offered a hello. We had a broken light that blinked all night outside our window. We asked to have it turned off, and the manager was rude. She did not sympathize or offer any type of solution. She called maintenance and asked them if they could turn it off and the response on the walkie talkie was "No." She told us the hotel was fully booked and changing rooms wasn't an option. We were told earlier when we asked about parking that the hotel was not booked so parking would not be an issue. It seemed that the management said whatever they felt needed to be said to avoid an issue.
The only bright spot was the lovely people who worked the breakfast. They had manners and were helpful.
It would have been nice to know that parking was not included in the hotel rate. We are not from a big city and didn't realize we had to pay that separately. Again, the staff treated us like we were clueless. I could not recommend this hotel to anyone.
