This was my second stay at this particular Sonesta. This room was not quite as nice as my last stay. Carpet needs a good cleaning. The ice maker was not working. The breakfast is not worth the $30 difference in the charge for the Sonesta ES versus the Sonesta Simply Suites that does not have breakfast. i guess I was spoiled by the breakfast at my first stay at a Sonesta in Birmingham, AL. I will still give them another chance as I do like the location.

Overall positive experience. Although, the landscaping crew were a bit overzealous and blew leaves and cigarette butts under the door gap into the unit as they were cleaning up. I can't imagine they didn't realize that!

The bed, AC, kitchen, location, room access, and work desk were comfortable and allowed me to be cozy. The staff was friendly. The free breakfast was slightly better than most hotels. I only take off a few points for there being 2 dead spiders on the wall and the shower could use a small renovation. Nevertheless, I would stay here again. ~3.5 stars.
