Love this place. Valet Parking changes are bad.

I love this place. Always have friendly staff and the food at the rooftop restaurant is great, and the drinks at the coffee bar are good. Whenever in Nashville, this is where we are. It’s clean, consistently a good experience. Recently the hotel, Maybe the company as a whole made changes to their valet parking. In the past, valet parking was always included in the room charge. It was a no fuss, no mess or worry type of situation. Unfortunately this time that was not the case. Valet parking is a separate payment through the parking company “PMC”. The valet drivers are incredibly nice. Booking for my recent trip I was unaware of these changes. Overnight parking is around $50 a night which is something I did not plan for since it had always been included in my room cost. I also did not see any changes in the rate for my room versus the last time I stayed here and the parking was included. This alone is very disappointing to me. This is my favorite hotel to sleep over whenever in town for concerts or a small trip out. I have another trip I am planning to Nashville in the winter. Due to these parking changes I intend to look towards other hotels. This change to me does not benefit the consumer in anyway that I can tell. I wouldn’t mind if my room rate were less due to the changes, but they weren’t. It doesn’t help that with their new system, they lost my car upon checkout and almost charged me for an additional night. Great hotel. Terrible parking system now.

Great staff, we arrived early and were able to get a room. Property across from Musicians Hall of Fame. Had complimentary breakfast and they provided 2 free drinks at their rooftop bar. A 15 minute walk to Broadway and 20 minutes from airport. Definitely would stay again at this property.

Only available parking on property is valet. Valet attendants are amazing and helpful; but the rate is fairly high at $46 per night. There is plenty of open parking lots and structures; you’ll just have to walk a block or less. The property and staff are amazing. The front desk allowed early check-in; the little amenities you get on arrival; complementary drinks and discounts at the on property eating and dining is appreciated. The property is across from what can only be described as detention facility and a bails bond business; but it doesn’t impact the hotel’s safety and secure feeling.

Cold shower

The Room was clean and nicely accommodating. However, I had no hot water in the shower. I was Disappointed with the rooftop restaurant. For the price of the food I expected a higher quality of food, the pasta wasn’t bland and the burger was from a frozen patty. Overall the Hotel is nice and the Staff friendly. I just expected hot water and a better dining experience. BTW the restaurant hostess was dressed in jeans, and the women busing tables came out in a winter jacket and a baseball cap which felt very unprofessional.

GREAT LOCATION CLEAN ROOMS GREAT SERVICE

The hotel is located in a great area. lots of great things to do in walking distance and not far from the free way. PARKING Parking was the only hitch. You either have to pay hourly to park on the street (2hr limit) or pay for valet, which I would assume is common in major downtown cities. This would have been fine but the young gentleman doing valet who was offering a discount (via his cashap) to park. When I declined he had an attitude with me. Other than that it was fine. CHECK IN Check in was amazing, very warm welcoming. We also got cards for free drinks and museum entry. DIVERSITY The area was very diverse and we felt comfortable everywhere we went ROOM the room was amazing. It was dim but we found the lights. We have high standards for cleanliness and this room was GREAT! Beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet- we did not hear people in the hall or neighbors.
