lovely spot with nice pool and lovely beach. A bit pricey to get back and forth to town (20 Euros each way) but the manager graciously moved us to the hotel suites in town for our last night which gave us the oportunity to explore there as well. Very accommodating.

Als je dit verblijf boekt is het handig om te weten dat je echt een auto nodig hebt. Er is echt niks in de buurt. Dit komt nog bovenop de al dure prijs van het verblijf. Wij zaten in een heel klein huisje dat geschikt zou zijn voor 4 personen. Gelukkig waren wij met z’n drieën, en kon onze bagage op het over gebleven bed liggen. Het huisje was niet schoon. Er liepen constant mieren in de keuken en de badkamer werd niet of een beetje schoongemaakt. Er zat een bad in het het huisje dat je niet uitnodigde om er in te gaan zitten. De bodem was heel vies. Er was buiten een rekje aan de muur voor je wasgoed, maar dat was defect. Voor deze prijs had ik iets meer comfort verwacht. Er was een zwembad, maar er werd niks aan onderhoud gedaan. De rand was helemaal groen van de aanslag. De WiFi werkte de eerste 4 dagen van ons verblijf niet. Daarna was het gemaakt en werkte het redelijk.

This is an overpriced establishment, unfinished and with no services. We booked a deluxe three-bed room with sea view for 140 euros per nigh. The bungalow assigned to us is on a stony road with two cars parked next to it, an undeground bed and no sea view whatsoever. The bungalow lacked space and furniture. The pool has not even umbrellas. After long discussion we were moved to a first floor deluxe two-bed room with sea view. They only gave us 60 euros discount for the first night when we wanted to cancel reservation of five days and leave. The second room was a bit better but still it was all cheap. the shower had a leak and flood the room, toiletries poor quality, the kitchenette lacked utensilis. It is in the middle of nowwhere and needs car or bike to arrive. In summary if you want a sea view room for a decent price in a resort with services, do not go to Ampelos, Go to medusa, the next-door resort that has all what Ampelos lacks. we were disappointed and we do not recomment this place.
