Earth Haus family vacation

We booked the Calm Water rental Earth Haus for 2 reasons...location and price. The location is awesome, right off the water and easy to locate. Price for the rental was pretty much unbeatable for the size of our group. Calm Water rentals was friendly and quick to respond to questions about the property before the check in. Only issue we had with the rental property was cleanliness. The rental needed to be cleaned better. There were bugs and spiders everywhere and can tell they had been there a while, we had to do a little cleaning to feel comfortable. It wasnt a big issue but we would suggest cleaning more thoroughly. Other than that I'd suggest this rental property to any group.

Terrible plumbing

The plumbing in the downstairs bathroom was not functioning well. My family staying downstairs in the bunkhouse and the room had to plunge the toilet every single day. I did not bring my family to Texas to unclog toilets and deal with stench. Very disappointed and embarrassed.
