Built in 1890, your charming home has been curated with all the necessities for a memorable experience. We have made it easy for you to have a contactless stay, but we are available for any guidance you many need including directions or recommendations for restaurants, music, fun for the kids, fun for the adults or any other questions you may have during your stay.

You are one block from the Rampart Street Car at Elysian Fields and St. Claude Avenues. Uber and Lyft are never more than 3 to 5 mins away 24/7.

The house is 23 mins from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (Rideshare and Taxis onsite), 11 mins from New Orleans Passenger Terminal (direct connect to Rampart-St. Claude Streetcar Line), 1 hr 25 mins from Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport, and 1 hr 11 mins from Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport. Truly a Treasure

We loved our stay. Jarrod was so accommodating and was always quick to respond with communication. We were so happy to find out we could control the thermostat, and there were ceiling fans in the bedrooms. They have really provided all the comforts of home. We were a family of 5 with young adult children. We found the location great. A 20-25 minute walk to the heart of the Quarter. My preference was Frenchman Street. So many great places to eat. We loved the Ruby Slipper for brunch and ordered it from Ike's twice the family liked their sandwiches so much.I can't wait to go back for another stay!

St. Patrick's with the brothers

Stated three nights over St Patrick's Day holiday. Fun neighborhood, Marigny, with close spots for food and fun. Older building with modern amenities was clean and all instructions were clear. Easy host to work with and even easier stay!

The property and amenities were as advertised. I didn't expect the washer/dryer to be important until we got caught in some torrential rains. The grocery store nearby was great to stock up on some food and snacks. We would stay again!

Roomy, clean, comfortable

Very clean, nicely decorated and the bottle of wine waiting to welcome us was a nice touch. Host was quite responsive. This property appears to be two “shotgun” houses remodeled into one roomy vacation home. Our group of four were more than comfortable there.

Very convenient to the French Quarter, yet quiet

Cozy and artistic home that's in a quiet part of town, yet walking distance to most of the great places people love to go to. There's a great Thai restaurant 2 blocks away, great breakfast 1/2 a block the other. The owner was quick to respond. The only thing that might surprise people is the bathroom sizes, which are very small. This is common for historical homes,and can't be changed. Just letting others know. Great place, friendly owner, highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway

This past weekend, myself and a few friends stayed at this property. We were just a few steps away from the Ruby Slipper, the best brunch spot in New Orleans. We were also blocks away from Frenchman and the French Market. The property was cleanly, the host had great communication, and they had plenty of extra amenities available. Our bed was extremely comfortable! Can not wait to come back!

Birthday trip

The pictures do NOT compare to the magnificence of this home! I along with my five family members truly enjoyed our five day stay. Jarrod had all the amenities one could need all the way down to the shower cap. He truly made my experience an enjoyable one. And the neighborhood bar was an added perk.

Fantastic Host and Excellent Property

We had a wonderful weekend in no small part due to the host's flexibility. The space is large, comfortable and well located, and our host made several accomodations to us which make our stay easier. The next time I'm in town I'll definitely be looking to rebook if I can!

An excellent alternative to staying in a hotel for a conference in downtown NOLA

I rented this house for myself and several members of my research group (n=5) to enable us to attend a recent archaeology conference in downtown NOLA. Doing so was an excellent decision. The house is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It's also in a great location. It's about 25-30 mins walk from Canal Street, which is where the conference was held, and very close to the music venues on Frenchmen Street. In addition, there's an excellent spot for breakfast (the Ruby Slipper) no more than two minutes away. In case that's still not enough to sell you on the place, I can attest that communication with the owner, Jarrod, and the check in process were both a breeze. If I ever get a chance to return to NOLA for a conference (will soon be sacrificing to the conference gods to bring that about), I'll immediately try to book Jarrod's place.

Fun family vacation

Marc was fabulous as a host. We enjoyed the house and were very comfortable. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do. The house had so much character and charm. We enjoyed just looking at all the fun items in the house. We all took turns at Karoke and laughed until our stomach hurt. Thank you Marc. On our return trip, we will choose this house again!

Awesome Place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My 10yr old and I were astonished that it was built in 1890, you can't tell except on the outside. The inside is renovated well and very modern. Marc was nothing short of a fantastic host. He continued to make sure we had everything we needed during our entire stay.

Awesome place to stay!!

I've been to New Orleans three times now and I just love how close this place was to Frenchmen and how accessible it was to walk down to the French Quarter. It was nice to be away from all the rowdyness you get from Bourbon! Marc is exceptional on communication and a wonderful host so that was really nice! 10/10 would stay again!!!

40th birthday party

I had my husband’s 40th birthday party here and it was perfect. It was almost like having our own little karaoke bar. The house is decorated so well, and it is in a great location to get to experience New Orleans. It is within walking distance to both bourbon and Frenchmen Streets. Marc is such a thoughtful host and has just about everything you could possibly need on hand. I packed in a hurry and forgot a few things, but everytime I said I needed to go to the store, I ended up finding what I needed. Even though it’s street parking only, we had no trouble finding the spots we needed. I would, without a doubt, stay at this property again.

Magical Getaway

Marc was an exceptional host. He was thoughtful, kind and responsive. We loved the location for our stay. Minutes Away from Frenchman St for live music or the French quarter for food, cocktails and beignets. We even journeyed into the cute By-Water neighborhood to check out the mural and cute streets. The place itself is fabulous inside: unique yet cozy, chic yet cool, modern design yet maintaining its aged architecture . The added karaoke/stage set-up was great for laughs. We came to elope and Marc even left us a kind note with bubbles to toast. We will definitely return.
