Terrible stay , room wasn’t ready . We couldn’t use toilet, it was leaking from the bottom all over floor . Told them and they sent maintenance but didn’t fix nothing .

Our room was nice but had a few issues especially with the money spent, such as: The bed was horribly uncomfortable, there was a crack in the main door that you could see light through, the room smelled horribly like it had been sprayed with raid. We had to keep the door open & exhaust fan on to clear it out. Other than that, we have no complaints.

Perfect location, attentive staff, spacious rooms!

For the value, location, attentive staff, and historic character of the building, this hotel is truly hard to beat. It strikes the ideal balance: close enough to everything that matters, yet just far enough removed to provide a quieter, more relaxed experience. The hotel is about an 8-minute walk from the French Quarter, giving you easy access without being in the thick of the late-night noise. Even better, it sits right between Frenchmen Street and the French Market—only 2 minutes in either direction, or about 4 minutes to walk from one to the other. This made it effortless to explore both the nightlife and the local culture without needing to arrange transport. Transportation couldn’t be easier. The local trolley line runs directly across the street along the waterfront. In less than 10 minutes you’re at Jackson Square, the river paddle boat docks, or the Grey Line tour hub. Continue another few minutes and you’ll reach Harrah’s Casino and the Aquarium. Having that option right at the doorstep was a huge convenience. On quieter days, simply crossing the street brought us to the New Orleans Jazz Museum—a wonderful spot for music lovers—or we could just enjoy downtime in our room. We stayed in Room 508 on the top floor, facing both the city and the river, and the view was worth every penny. The only small trade-off was the occasional sound of a railcar passing by late at night or early morning, but they were quick and never enough to disturb our overall rest.
