Summary:
Welcome to The Syd. Set in a hidden paradise just minutes from the French Quarter, The Syd offers six poolside suites for large group getaways.

The Space:
This 10BR/6BA space features an incredible living area with two sectionals, a huge 85” TV, and outsized murals. The ceiling soars to over 22 ft in height and the oversized windows offer views of the city skyline and pool outside. The dining room has a beautiful custom- built pecan dining table that can comfortably seat 18 people and features three chandeliers that were made by a local lighting designer.

This suite was inspired by Louisiana's environment and it's influence on New Orleans. Throughout the space, you'll find artwork depicting Louisiana scenes and the plants and animals found in them.

The Syd revolves around its outdoor space and you'll have access to the heated outdoor pool, cabana, hot tub, sauna, Finnish "bucket" shower, regular outdoor shower, and outdoor kitchen. Note that these outdoor spaces (pool, hot tub, sauna, and grill areas) are shared with the other suites at The Syd.

The Neighborhood:
The Syd is centrally located between the French Quarter/Downtown and the Garden District. There are coffee shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance and you’ll be a one minute walk from the famous St. Charles Streetcar which you can take to both the French Quarter and Garden District.

Other Things to Note:
Note that the outdoor spaces (pool, hot tub, and grill areas) are shared with the other suites at The Syd.

This unit is on the 2nd floor; there is no elevator and stairs are required to reach all rooms in this suite.

All outdoor spaces (pool, hot tub, sauna, grill area) are open from 8am-10pm daily.

For the security of our guests, we have external recording devices (security cameras) located in the common areas. These are exterior only.

This property is equipped with a noise monitoring device. It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). This device also monitors occupancy and cigarette smoke.

The perfect place to stay in NOLA. Location was amazing and close to everything. Minutes away from the French Quarters and lots of local eateries. The property looks exactly like the photos and it was plenty of room!! This place was equipped with everything you need. I will definitely be booking again. Thank youuuuu so much!! Nola jazz fest 50th birthday girls trip

We had such an amazing time, all 17 of us. Plenty of room, plenty of bathrooms, two fridges were super useful. Lots of towels and really nice shampoos, soaps and wash. We were told small conveniences would be provided but were not, but not a game changer...aluminum foil or wrap and sugar for coffee and only one roll of paper towel. The hot tub was not clean. A few extra kitchen towels would be nice. Otherwise it was convenient for walking to everything and the decor was just brilliant. We all toured the artists photos of the making of the murals. It was so great! We hired a private chef and a guy who made a crawfish boil, highly recommend. Insta Cart was quick to this location We absolutely loved this house and would stay again. Thank you!

Great property in a transitional neighborhood

The property was great to stay at. My company had an off-site trip and the house had enough room for all of us. It was easy walking distance to CBD and the French Quarter. The neighborhood is in transition and has some parts that are a bit rough around the edges. But, my team felt safe and greatly enjoyed the experience.
