The shower hadn’t even been cleaned. There was still hair in the drain. Woke up to no hot water and it took hours to come back on. The phone in the room didn’t work. The pillow cases were stained. The beds are small and very uncomfortable. The pillows are paper thin as soon as you lay on them. The staff were very nice.

I had a hard time finding the entrance to the hotel. Hotel room had a big gap at the bottom of the door and anytime someone left or went to their hotel room the sound of closing doors and people talking would wake me up.

A bit of an odd hotel in terms of vibe, but it was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it is very convenient to the French quarter while not being right in the middle of the madness. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a reasonable and convenient stay in New Orleans, plus the Indian place downstairs is excellent.

Cheap and still not worth it.

Hot water ran out for a few hours. There was a huge gap under the main door so the noise from other guests was not blocked at all. This room was cheaper than others, but still not worth it.
