We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Newcastle. The staff were very helpful, and we loved the added bonus of free buffet breakfast which was delicious with good variety. The hotel is close to a light rail stop making it easy to leave the car in the car park and travel up town.

Great value and comfort!

Excellent yet affordable place to stay, including breakfast! My partner and I stayed one night during a drive from Melbourne to Brisbane. Great soundproof rooms, beds so comfortable, and quick easy breakfast options!

This is a reasonable hotel. Comfortable and clean. Unfortunately there are major issues with the hot water, sometimes it’s boiling hot and then all of a sudden it turns cold and then without warning it’s cold again. Staff wise there are a couple of very helpful front desk staff but some of them have real attitudes, particularly a male staff member. Often breakfast is served later than 6.30 as the as the staff member is not organised. I have witnessed people going to the kitchen to get them to open up the breakfast area. I won’t be staying again.
