The staff tried to be helpful but it was a bad night for being a guest in that hotel. A lot of loud noise and slamming of doors almost the entire night.

In the middle of a industrial estate - stay away!

Limited evening menu due to lack of product, less than a third of the breakfast menu was available. Vastly over charged for a £5.00 bottle of wine @ £25.00, little choice of other drinks (no draught beers)

Ok room, Terrible food.

Room was ok, Relatively clean but the floorboards were so creaky I thought I was in a 200 year old house. I went down to the restaurant which didn't have a beer license ordered fish and chips. It came after about 20 minutes with the batter lay on top of the fish (like it had been pre cooked) and it was anemic. I cut into the fish and it was completely raw.

Riverloads

The hotel is nice enough. My husband and I went for breakfast. The floor is not clean, and there are a lot of crumbs everywhere. The 2 pillows are too soft and it's so uncomfortable. No air-conditioning. We only have 2 towels, no hand towels. The bathroom floor is squeaking a lot, and when I used the tap on the sink, it made a weird noise. The ambience in the restaurant is quite dull. But the night reception is very good, we asked for a fan because it was hot and we got it within 5 minutes.

No bar or restaurant as being refurbished, disappointing as chose si could overlook river
