Quite expensive for what it is especially as breakfast is not included. Also no lifts so if you're disabled or have heavy luggage, this is not the notel for you

Although this is a convenient hotel for Gateshead and especially the Metro Centre, it is very dated. There is no customer lift and quite steep stairs to climb with a suitcase if you are on the second floor which we were. The staff are nice and helped me get my suitcase down when we were checking out through the service lift. However, this is quite a dated hotel with basic amenities and not a place you would go stay at for a treat.
