Enjoy this comfortable, clean, classic Beach House located in the heart of Balboa Island! Here you are 1.5 blocks from the Bayfront and 1.5 blocks from a legendary Frozen Banana. Everything the Island has to offer is right around the corner!

The exterior of the house will sweep you away to that classic Balboa charm with its white picket fence and signature Dutch door. Inside you will find a chic, updated open space fit with a Smart TV, bluetooth sound bar and excellent wifi.

The kitchen and dining room are equipped with everything you will need to prepare and enjoy family meals. Go for additional dining space on the back deck where you’ll find a gas grill and teak table perfect for a summer night barbecue.

The kids will get a kick out of the summer camp feel of bunk beds in one room, while you relax in the master suite fit with its own bathroom and shower. All linens and towels are included and laundered with top of the line attention to cleanliness and comfort.

Beach house

We stayed here for 8 days and it was totally enjoyable. The place is very clean and close to the main drag on Balboa the Christmas boat parade was a real plus. The owner was great to work with. I would suggest this place to people you want to relax and have a good time, if your bring children it’s perfect as you and they can enjoy the beach and sand. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Bruce

Great Beach House!

My family of four had a fantastic time at this beach house on Balboa Island! The house and kitchen were well stocked, and it was very clean on arrival. It was great having two bathrooms, even if one is a bit small (it's a beach house so exactly what we expected!). The location is perfect - close to the main street area and easy to walk the entire island. The host was fantastic - very quick to respond and incredibly nice. We hope to book this house again for future trips!

First time we used VRBO. We were a little apprehensive. Would it be as advertised? My wife and I were most concerned about cleanliness. We loved it and are currently planning next years longer stay. Location awesome!!!

Balboa charm

This house is very clean and has all the essentials. The renter is easy to get ahold of and helpful. Everything is close in Balboa but this is only a block off the main drag, which made walking around in the evening a breeze. Highly Recommended!!!

Great Family Vacation

Great place!

This beach cottage is in the best location very close to the Main Street for most of the shops and eateries. Even my 92 year old mother was able to walk to town! There is also a small market/deli very close! This is very nice since street parking on the island can be very hard! Having the garage for parking is important, just don’t bring a very large vehicle, but it fit my sedan just fine! The place was very clean, well equipped, and Annie was great to work with! All of the beds are very comfortable. I did not expect such a comfortable bed in the bunk room, but it was! I would definitely stay here again. You can tell that a lot of thought and effort went into making this cottages renter-friendly!

Balboa Island Bliss

An absolutely excellent and well equipped property in the best location, just 1 street away from the shops and restaurants. This place is amazing, and much bigger than we expected, plenty space for our family of 4 to relax in between sight seeing. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook meals, and the BBQ was really good. The lounge area is a great area to relax, and the beds were very comfortable. We were even provided with soaps, laundry tablets, and dish wash tablets. I would highly recommend. If we come back I will look no further.

Balboa - an Island Paradise

We have been coming to the island every summer for over 25 years. This year our stand by cottages were overrun by growing families who own them and now have married grandchildren. Hence the hunt for a new location. We loved this property. It is bright and cheerful with amenities suitable for a family to cook and entertain local friends. It is close to Marine so an easy stroll to shopping and restaurants and Dad's for Ice Cream, an absolute necessity after dinner and dishes and games about 9:00 pm. We were all very comfortable and very pleased we found such a nice home on the island. We shall be back!
