Island Escape on 2 BR / 2 BA, viihtyisä osakehuoneisto, joka sijaitsee Newport Beachin kuuluisalla Balboa-saarella. Vain muutaman sekunnin päässä Balboa-lautalta, tämä yksikkö tarjoaa täydellisen pakopaikan Etelä-Kalifornian loputtomaan kesään!

Vieraat voivat nauttia kävelystä Balboa-saaren viehättäviin ravintoloihin, kahviloihin ja bayside-rantoihin. Niemimaan päärannat ovat vain 15 minuutin päässä lautalla.

Balboa Island ei ole vain loistava lomakohde, vaan myös loistava tukikohta monille Etelä-Kalifornian nähtävyyksille ja huvipuistoille.

Island Escape on 2-kerroksinen takaosa, jossa on 2 makuuhuonetta yläkerrassa, 1 kylpyhuone ja 1 kylpyhuone alakerrassa, joka sisältää suihkun. Tämä pirteä ja valoisa koti on täysin kalustettu ja varustettu. Valmiina mukavaan ja huolettomaan kesäloman lomaan tai talvivuokraukseen!

Keittiössä ja avoimessa olohuoneessa (suurella taulutelevisiolla) on valkoinen laattalattia, kun taas molemmissa yläkerran makuuhuoneissa on kokolattiamatto. Makuuhuoneessa on oma parivuode ja oma TV, kun taas kerrossänkyssä on kolme kaksoset ja yksi täysikokoinen. Kaikki liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet, mukaan lukien rantapyyhkeet ja tuolit, toimitetaan.

Laitteen kyljessä, vain ruokasalin oven läpi, on oleskelualue, jossa on uusi propaani-BBQ. Yläkerrassa on myös pääsy ulkopuolelle pienen terassin kautta.

Aktiviteetit ja nähtävyydet:

Kiinteistömme sijaitsee alle yhden korttelin päässä kauniista Balboa-lahdesta, rantatieltä ja Balboa-lautalta, josta pääsee niemimaan rannoille ja Tyynellemerelle. Lautta on ihana 5 minuutin ajomatka suoraan Balboa Fun Zone -alueelle (pelihalleja, ajelua ja välipaloja), Balboa-laituri, ostos- ja ravintoloita, veneily- ja kalastusretkiä (mukaan lukien kuljetus läheiselle Catalina-saarelle) sekä pyörä- / vesiurheilu vuokria.

Ahhaatti on saaren ainoa katu, jossa on lasten kiipeily kuntosali ja koripallokenttä. Itse saarella Marine Avenue tarjoaa hienoja ravintoloita ja putiikkeja, jotka ovat vain 2 mailin päässä vielä hienommista ruokailu-, ostos- ja elokuvateattereista Newportin kuuluisassa ulkokeskuksessa, Fashion Islandilla.

Niille, jotka ovat kiinnostuneita näkemään lisää Orange Countyn rannikosta, Laguna Beach sijaitsee vain 7 mailia kauempana Tyynenmeren rannikon moottoritieltä. Alun perin taiteilija siirtomaa, Laguna isännöi Masters and Sawdust -festivaalin kesälehteä, taidegallerioita sekä hienoja ruokailu- ja ostosmahdollisuuksia sekä upeita rantoja, joissa on vuorovesialtaat.

Island Escape on 30 minuutin päässä Disneylandista ja Knott's Berry Farmista ja noin tunnin päässä Universal Studiosta, Hollywoodista, San Diegon eläintarhasta ja Sea Worldistä. Santa Ana / Orange County (SNA) -lentokenttä on vain 10 minuutin päässä ja Los Angelesin kansainvälinen lentokenttä (LAX) on noin 45 minuutin päässä.

Thanks for letting us use your home!

Unfortunately, from the description and pictures, we thought the hiuse was right on beach front. But still close enough to walk to and enjoy. We needed more T.P., so i went to corner store to buy a couple rolls, the next thing i knew, there was a box of toilet paper sirting at the front door. Not sure how they knew that... ?? We had a great time. I was there visiting with a friend that is not supposed to make it much longer. She loves the beach, so this stay was almost perfect! Great memories. Thanks again!

Great Location, Needs Better Beds

This location was prime. My only gripe is the fact that the bunk beds upstairs messed up my back for a week. I recommend bringing an air mattress just for better sleep. Toilet Paper also need stocking but it was not verbal a pleasurable stay.

Perfect for Us!

We were a party of three. Great to have two full baths. One on each floor. Nice, well supplied kitchen with coffee filters, soap, etc. Having a garage space is a great plus. Beach chairs and beach towels were an additional benefit.

Nice 2-Bedroom Near Balboa Ferry

The property is an older secondary unit near the Ferry. Although older, it's nicely appointed and a good place to call home for a stay on the Island. Given that it's not a street-facing unit, it has no views, but there are bay-front benches just down the road for enjoying the view. Having a garage to use made parking a breeze, which can be problematic at times, especially during the summer. Downtown dining and ocean views from the Balboa Pier are an easy walk away. We received check-in information later than stated in the listing (hence the four-stars on property manager communication), but that's a very minor issue.

Cockroaches. Mold. Mouse holes. Hair in the coffee maker. Hair in the sheets. A ceiling fan that looks like it’s gonna fall on the bed. Throw blankets that have crusty spots on them. Probably never get washed. A lot of stuff is broken. Toilet flush handle. Ceiling fan. Bathroom fan (which is filthy). The ads says if you want luxury to rent another spot in balboa. We weren’t looking for luxury, but we were expecting clean, safe, and functioning. This place is all about the Benjamins baby. Bottom line, would I stay here again? No because I do not want to give these people anymore of my hard earned…. Excessive laundry charge? What is that? All I hear is we don’t wash everything and if you use it and we have to wash it we will charge you for it. This place is Motel6 of balboa short term rentals. And not the motel6 by Disneyland, the motel6 in Santa Ana.

Weekend Getaway

This was a cozy and clean stay that was steps from the Balboa Ferry! The 2 bed/2 bath house perfectly fit a group of 6 of us for a weekend getaway. We didn’t use the shared outdoor space, but that is because the ferry is so close and once you use the ferry the Balboa Beach on the Newport Pennisula is less than a 5 minute walk away. The apartment can get a little warm during the middle of the day in the summer or early fall, but the beach breeze and provided fans helped it cool down nicely at night. We appreciated the extra details of toiletries, beach towels, and optional beach gear in the garage. The kitchen was also adequately stocked for cooking. Parking in the garage was super convenient. The street parking right outside the apartment does have a 3 hour limit on the weekends, but there were neighboring streets less than a 5 minute walk away with plenty of free parking. The apartment is located next to a small market, many different shops and yummy eateries. I would stay here again!

Family weekend

We stated at this property for 3 nights! It was comfortable for us a family of 4. Definitely close to alot of things specially if you crossed on the ferry to Newport! We would definitely stay there again. Only thing we struggle with was parking because our truck didn't fit in the garage with the car of the family in the second property.

Balboa Fun

Although the property is dated, we had everything we needed for a good stay. The location is good and the beaches were great with easy access. The house was smaller then we anticipated after seeing the photos online. But everything worked out fine.

Great place to stay for an affordable option at an expensive destination. A bit older but clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels and beds were quite comfortable. Kit he was well equipped.

Suffers from lack of maintenance and cleaning

TThe property is the perfect location. The property managers The property manager and owner were responsive when I told them they failed to give me the door code. Here's a list of things we found when we accessed the condo: Several window screens were missing; Several screens were torn; Several light bulbs were burned out; The rear sliding door did not work and the screen was broken; The beige carpet on the stairs was filthy and black where people walk; We had to clean the greasy hand stains and dirt off of the stair rail before we used it; The furniture was worn and on one chair the bottom padding was deteriorated making the chair unusable. In general it looked like the condo has been repeatedly rented without performing normal maintenance.

Great Value Close to Ferry

We visit Balboa Island often as we love the island vibe. Robin and Bill made this a memorable time as they are very easy to work with and always accessible. The unit is one block from the ferry on the south bay making a picturesque walk to the town. The unit is as advertised, clean, and fully furnished. The off-street parking is a strong plus for Balboa Island. Balboa rentals can be quite pricey but this is a good value for two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

GREAT LOCATION NEAR BALBOA FERRY, EXCELLENT VALUE

Located about two minutes walk to the ferry, this spotless two level place has many features that make it comfortable for a stay of any length. Well appointed with everything from a fully supplied kitchen to having sleeping arrangements for several people. One of the most important items is a garage which eliminates the hassle and uncertainty of finding parking on the street. A new french restaurant has just opened nearby. Also, the owners are responsive to questions and do their best to help their guests. We would stay again!!

Awesome for the family

We were very impressed with the house and the location. All 5 of our children had a blast, they loved taking the ferry over to the beach on their own. The house is just 6 or so housed away from the ferry on the same road. There are beach toys (Frisbee, Football, buckets, shovels, lots of little kids toys) and chairs already there for the kids/ adults and a little cart to tow them/ carry them to the beach. The washer and dryer are very convenient as well. They also have beach towels and a beach umbrella. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking pans, dishes, soap and dish towels. Satellite tv in the main bedroom and family room. The only toy we will bring from home when we do it again is a boogie board for the kids. We loved our stay and the owner (Robin) was a joy to work with.
