Welcome! Orthey's Riverview is a private stay consisting of the main house which includes a spacious new kitchen, open entryway and living room with plenty of natural light and a fireplace. It also has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, plus a lower level with the second living area/game room. The "Burd's Nest" is a short distance away and houses another 4 bedrooms (each with their own vanity & sink) and another full bathroom. A large wrap-around deck and yard allow ample room outdoors.
During your stay at this holiday home, you'll be within walking distance of Juniata River. Laundry facilities and an arcade/games room are available. A kitchen and 4 bathrooms are available in the holiday home.

Pleasant and relaxing

Second time we have stayed here, and it was just as great as the first time. Many things to do locally if you choose to. If not, stay in and enjoy the view and relax on the spacious deck.The kitchen is well stocked and has two refrigerators and an automatic ice maker.Most importantly, the hostess is responsive to the renters.We hope to be able to come back again.

Perfect for a Family Wedding Basecamp

This house was a perfect place for our family as we came to the area for a local wedding. The Burd House allowed us a place for the young adults to stay. The kitchen is perfect for big family meals and the large firepit was utilized each night for relaxation and stores. The close proximity to a full service grocery store is an added bonus.

Delightful

Property was as advertised. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen and up to date appliances. Separate automatic ice maker was a nice surprise. Plenty of towels available and beds very comfortable. Outside was also clean, nicely landscaped and well lit. Wood was available for the fire pit. All in all, it was one of the nicest places we have stayed at and we would book again.
