It was clean enough but not immaculate. From the listing, it seems as if the possibility of early check in would be known by noon, but we had to go back and forth with the host to know if it was a possibility or not. We were finally told late in the afternoon it was not so we made a decision to go do an activity. By the time he alerted us we could check in we did not have time to drive there and make it to our scheduled boat tour, which was pretty inconvenient. Perhaps more clarification is needed there. Some minor damage was noted upon checkin. The biggest issue we had was the double beds were extremely uncomfortable. I would actually call them cots. They were very squeaky, the frames felt a little unstable, the mattress protector was very noisy every time you moved, and the sheets were polyester, so they didn't breathe at all. Even with the air on and not a warm night, I woke up hot because of the sheets. I would definitely recommend upgrading the bedding. Things I appreciated: the host supplied many common necessities that made our stay much easier, it was an extremely quiet area and felt safe, and it was spacious and aesthetically pleasing. Overall, however, I do not think it was a great value for the price we paid, and I probably would prefer to stay elsewhere next time. With some improvements, this place could be 5 stars.
