Room 5, junior suite, sadly the room was ridiculously hot. It was a mildly warm day but the room was 32degrees at night, with no way to cool the room and in no way conducive to a good nights sleep. The hotel didn’t have any portable aircon or similar when the issue was raised with reception

Fantastic Hotel – Highly Recommend! Stayed here the night before the Nottingham 70.3 Ironman and couldn’t have picked a better spot – only 10 minutes from the event, making it the perfect location. The hotel itself is fantastic. The spa is absolutely beautiful and spotless, offering a great place to relax. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were excellent – great quality and great value for money. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Very sad hotel!

Booked quality room but arrived to find we had a shoebox that was depressing just to look at it, let alone spend time there in the evening. Asked to change but nothing else available so decided to cancel on the understanding that we will receive full refund. Much of the rest of the hotel was in poor condition and it is very difficult to see how it has a 4-star rating, as per web site.

Good room.

Clean tidy small double, easy car parking, pool small but good for a refreshing dip. Friendly staff. Breakfast was not so great, English cooked breakfast was of poor quality.

Reception staff very helpful. Room ok. Bathroom nice but shower had no handholds at all and nowhere to keep sponges gel etc while showering. Bed comfortable. This was classed as a superior room but I could not use desk for computer work as knees could not go underneath. Only other chair in room very small and for someone 6ft quite uncomfortable and again not used Dinner menu not extensive and several items not available at 7.30 but quality was good.
