Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

Our recent stay in Oakhurst

The property is nicely remodeled and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast was enjoyable (both outside and indoor sitting area available). Very convenient location if you're visiting Yosemite National Park.

Great location and wonderful staff

Our stay was really nice. We were able to check in early and the staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was great, they had so many options to choose from. The only negative was the beds were too hard for my liking. My kids were not bothered by them, but my mom and I were uncomfortable. We drove to Bass Lake each day of our stay and the location of the Lodge was great!

I liked that it seems to be independently owned. Nice place to stay if you're in town for a night or two. Staff was very nice and attentive to any issues we had. There was a local restaurant just a short walk next door that was great!

I wouldn’t recommend

The staff was very nice. The chairs around the pool were broken. The furniture is dated, but the beds were comfortable. It took forever for the water to get warm. It was a terrible waste of water.

We were going to a wedding nearby, so we just needed a place to get ready and sleep afterwards. Check in was easy and they try to help you navigate the area. Very clean rooms but Just what you Need. We had a King bed, microwave and fridge. Bathroom lighting was Impressive but no full length mirror. It's a lodge- you shouldnt expect Much. *Comp breakfast tho

Noisy kitchen just out back window until after bedtime. Light shined in rrar window until 5:30 AM. They had plenty of vacant rooms, no need to rent that one.

Feces on the side of toilet tank near handle. Roach in the bathroom. Door threshold strip was hanging loose with screws exposed. Smoke detector had been removed. Lousy TV, and Wi-Fi didn't work. On the good side, shower was new and nice, beds were clean and comfortable, and staff was nice.
Nice cleaning job.
Those pesky smoke detectors can be noisy, better to remove them.
Just watch your step.
