The room itself was nice, however, the deadbolt was not aligned properly and couldn't be engaged. If I didn't have my dogs with me I would have insisted on a different room. But, no one was coming in with them there. Also, the smoke detector wasn't hooked up. The cover was missing and the wires were hanging out. I was going to report these things on check out but no one was at reception and I didn't have time to hang out and wait.

Had an amazing stay. The rooms were spotless, staff was extremely welcoming, and the facilities were top-notch. Loved the delicious breakfast and peaceful ambiance. Definitely a place I’d love to return to!

The room was clean. Parking is partially concealed from street view, offering added privacy. The staff did an excellent job explaining directions. Breakfast is very good and the view from both the dining area and terrace is impressive. Wi-Fi could be improved.

I stayed here for a night after flying into Fresno. I wanted a clean, safe and inexpensive room ,before heading to Yosemite the next day. Nice brewery up the road with good food as well. Von's supermarket nearby I used to stock up on water and some snacks for camping trip. Took me about an hour to get to the Lodge from FAT and then 1.5 hrs to get to Curry Village from the Lodge.

The proprietors are thoughtful and caring. Great value in the stay. The breakfast offerings were good but not extravagant. Peaceful breakfast nook. Very clean and quiet. Easy, comfy stay.

Needs a handyman

Other than WiFi that didn’t work throughout our stay, the multiple holes in the wall of the bathroom where towel racks likely were located, an outlet for the tv with no cover, and an arm chair with noticeable stains on the cushion, everything was fine. Room 19 just seems to need a handyman to patch and paint and install a towel rack, replace an outlet cover and remove the armchair and change a lightbulb in the ceiling fan. We did get creative and used the ironing board for our towel rack! The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting Yosemite and the staff were all friendly, but the hotel itself just needs some TLC before I would return.

Loved this hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast had a good variety and the staff were delightful and helpful. 30 mins to the southgate yosemite entrance and central to multiple grocery/convenience stores and a few restaurants.

Great location, amazing staff and pretty clean room. A little older furniture, AC and sink, but everything was maintained as good as it can be. Breakfast was offered from 6:30 am to 9:30 am everyday.
