Clean, stylish. Great breakfast. If I'm nitpicking, the sound of the boiler in room 6 is a bit of a pain; it's really loud and you can clearly hear it rumbling away in the room. We didn't complain, so you could argue it wasn't that bad but if we were there any longer, it might have warranted a conversation with the staff. Despite that, it was a lovely stay and I'd recommend.

Nice hotel with great decor, spotlessly clean, efficient staff. Sadly the walls in the exte sion are like paper and we could hear everything from the room nextdoor in the middle of the night which is not great when you have to get up early and drive 200 miles.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location to walk into Oban. Beautiful decor and excellent staff and service. The Porcini restaurant and the included breakfast was wonderful. Only matter was our room and bathroom were fairly small. But overall it was high calibre lodging!

Every single staff person was friendly, helpful and worked hard to make my our stay wonderful. Breakfasts and dinner were excellent. Even the takeaway breakfast they supplied for our early departure was perfect. Our room #11 was spotless and plenty of room (contrary to other reviews). We did hear a lot of water noise from an adjacent bathroom which sounded like it was directly behind our headboard. Other than that, this was truly a perfect 3 nights.
