Parking felt safe because there was a gate. There was a gateman when we checked in. After that however, we had to open the gate ourselves. Our room smelled. The bathroom stall was clean.

The room is very basic. The beach is a pay per visit view. The hotel is in a very noisey area and the rooftop bar is not maintained and the tables are all falling apart. Its difficult to walk out of the parking lot as the street hustlers are overwhelming

I would be somewhat hesitant picking the hotel. It's not actually at the beach and there is only one free entrance but more importantly it's very noisy due to a nearby nightclub and there were a lot of local Jamaicans staying at the hotel, some of which were drinking and smoking weed (the later is quite normal in Jamaica but not something I am used to or appreciate being close to). The staff did its best to help and accommodate me (including the security guard who is there from 5 PM to 8 AM). They were very friendly but this was not exactly the kind of place I had expected when booking. I also kept struggling with mosquitos in the room that we never managed to get rid of even if the latter was probably just unfortunate.

One of the finer places we've been to thats clean, close to great food restaurants, activities, and the beach, AND budget friendly. Parking is provided inside the property plus the stay comes with access to the beach. The rooms were spotless. Slight hickup if you're checking in/earlier than 8am as no one is in the office but the security guard helped us with checking out because we had to leave before 7am. Overall, we're definitely coming back to this place. The location, access, security, and proximity to the beach are features that I'd come back for.

DO NOT STAY HERE — BED BUGS. This was a terrible experience from start to finish. Staff were consistently rude and unhelpful, often more focused on smoking outside than assisting guests. Basic requests were met with attitude. The “direct beach access” is misleading and limited unless you pay extra. Hot water is unreliable, Wi-Fi barely works, and the rooms are poorly maintained. We were bitten repeatedly at night and later confirmed it was bed bugs—even after being moved to a different room. I have photos for proof and had to see a doctor for treatment. Management was dismissive and dishonest about room availability, and staff tried to charge us for ridiculous things while we were dealing with this issue. We’ve reported this to the health department. If you care about cleanliness, honesty, or basic comfort, avoid this hotel at all costs.
