Summary:

Inspired by the miles of shoreline and many driftwood piles that can be found on the shoreline. This standard suite is located on the first floor and accommodates up to 2 guests with queen bed. All suites offer hi speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs and premium linens.



The Space:

The property offers several common areas, including: reception area, parlor with a sitting area, fireplace and pool table, large front porch (new in 2026), 2 screened in porches, library (2nd floor), roof top deck, premium vending machine for 24 hour snacks, water refill station (hot and cold), kitchen and dining room. The property also offers access to the inground pool, sauna, Silver Lake dock with deck and floating dock.



Guest Access:

Guests of the Driftwood Suite have access to a variety of areas and amenities at The Castle Inn. Enjoy the common areas, including the reception area, parlor with a cozy sitting area, fireplace, and pool table, as well as the large front porch (new in 2026). Relax on one of the two screened-in porches, or explore the library on the second floor. Take in the views from the rooftop deck. Refreshments are available through the premium vending machine, and you can refill your water bottle at the water refill station. The property also offers access to the outdoor inground pool, sauna, and the Silver Lake dock with a deck and floating dock. The suite itself is a private space, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring Ocracoke Village.

Getting Around:

The Castle Inn is ideally situated in the heart of Ocracoke Village, offering easy access to all local attractions. Guests can easily explore the village on foot or by bicycle. Free parking is available on the premises for guests arriving by car. Please comply with parking requirements.



Other Things to Note:

Parking for 1 regular sized vehicle (per room) is in the shared parking lot adjacent connected to the property (Lot with pea gravel) Trailers, Boats and oversized vehicles should be parked in the NPS lot.
