Cozy Adirondack Log Cabin w/ Central Air

Come visit our family friendly log cabin getaway in the heart of the Adirondacks. Situated along the Fulton Chain Lakes between Old Forge and Inlet, we are close to all of the year round activities that this area offers. Hiking, bike trails, lake beaches, town parks, playgrounds, restaurants and more are all within a short drive from our home.
The space
Updated in 2022 with new flooring throughout, all new appliances, and new bathrooms. We will be continuing to make additional upgrades throughout the year.

Sleeping Arrangements
Downstairs
Bedroom 1: The dark and moody primary bedroom on the main floor has a king bed as well as twin size bunk beds. This bedroom also has a private, full bath attached.

Upstairs
Bedroom 2: This large bedroom offers vaulted ceiling and a king size bed. You will also find a folding mini crib in this closet for your little one.

Bedroom 3: This room has a queen size bed and plenty of additional space for a pack n play or travel toddler bed.

Bedroom 4: This room offers two twin size beds.

Living Quarters
The main living room features exposed beams, a smart tv, and ample seating for your group. (The pellet stove pictured is not currently hooked up, but should be by the end of 2022).

The kitchen has been recently updated with new quartz countertops, all new appliances including a dishwasher, and a custom 3 seat island.

The dining room is connected to the kitchen and has seating for 8 (4 chairs and 2 benches).

The game room is the heart of the home connecting the kitchen to the main living room. Here you will find a cabinet filled with books, puzzles and games. There is a table and chairs as well my favorite plaid loveseat.

There are 2.5 bathrooms in the house. Downstairs there is a half bath located between the game room main living room as well as a full bath attached to the primary bedroom. Upstairs there is one full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. This bathroom is shared between all three rooms, but does have a separate entrance to the king size bedroom.

Toiletries and towels/linens are NOT included.

Outdoor Living
There is a large wrap around porch that allows you to enjoy the outdoors in all weather. In the fenced in backyard you will find a fire pit and chairs as well as a deck box containing games and a child size chair. There are additional camping chairs located in the garage if needed or for you to borrow for any activities you are headed to during your stay.
Our lot spans three wooded acres with plenty of privacy in the backyard, but we do still have neighbors close by and ask our guests to be respectful of that.

Other things to note

>> Family friendly items including a mini crib, pack n' play, high chair, black out shades/curtains in all bedrooms, and toys are all available to you during your stay.

>> Pet guests are not allowed, but we do frequent the home with our own dog. If you have allergies this property would not be suitable for you.

>> Please ensure that all members of your group are made aware of our house rules. We expect you to return the property to us in the same condition you found it. You will find our full checkout procedure printed in the guest guide and it will also be sent to you as a pdf prior to checkin.

>> Our well water has been tested and is safe for drinking and cooking.

>> Expect to encounter wildlife, but please remember that it is against the law to feed them. Also please do not leave any garbage outside because we do have an occasional black bear. There will be bugs, sometimes worse depending on the season so consider packing bug spray and please keep all screens/doors closed.

>> Our home has central air newly installed in 2022 and is kept comfortably warm during the colder months with hot water baseboard heating.

>> Parties/events are not permitted.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire property excluding the basement / utility closets. You will receive a code for the garage door prior to check in.
