Welcome to Emerald Skye 45, a cozy and charming beachfront condo in the heart of Orange Beach, Alabama. This inviting 1-bedroom + bunk alcove retreat features breathtaking, unobstructed Gulf-front views—perfect for couples or small families seeking a relaxing coastal escape with plenty of adventure nearby.

With 763 square feet of comfortable living space, Emerald Skye 45 easily accommodates up to six guests. The primary bedroom offers a restful haven, while the hallway features a twin-over-twin junior bunk and the living area includes a sleeper sofa, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to unwind. The relaxing ambiance makes it easy to settle in after a day on the beach or exploring everything Orange Beach has to offer.

The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare meals with ease, whether you're cooking a quick breakfast or enjoying dinner with Gulf views. Additional conveniences include flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and an in-unit washer and dryer to make your stay even more comfortable.

My family came down to Orange Beach and stayed at this property for 10 days. The check in process was very simple, the beach view is great, access to the beach was very simple as long as you remember the gate code. There were a few problems though with the unit itself. First the cleanliness of it was not so great. We decided to walk down to the beach as soon as we got there. We came back up washed off at the shower and went to the unit. I remained barefooted as did my daughter. wasn't inside long at all till we both noticed the bottom of our feet were BLACK from the floors. we thought it was something different till we got a wet paper towel and spot cleaned, yes, it came out black. So, wear shoes if you go here. My wife and I bought cleaning supplies so we could clean the floors better than they were. Next the bathroom had a bad stench to it, not the normal sulfa smell either. Just odd. we bought air fresheners to fix that. Then the shower head hose was nasty. The smell I believe came from there as we believed it to be black mold. My wife sprayed it down with Bleach clean up. despite all the issues will the refrigerator door swing being wrong, the laundry bifold door is really loud, the closet doors in bedroom about to fall off, need door sweep on entry door, outdated furniture, and a couch that has been overused. We enjoyed the stay only because we pretty much just slept there. The Pictures DO this unit justice, Oh and don't forget to empty the dehumidifier daily.

This condo was the perfect size for our family of three. It was a great value for the price. The king bed was comfortable and there were plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. The couch is small but comfortable. We booked this condo because of its close proximity to the beach and didn't spend much time in the condo, and I wouldn't recommend this condo for comfort if you plan on spending a lot of time indoors. It is decorated nicely and is very bright and clean. We set up the outdoor chairs we brought on the patio because they were more comfortable than the patio furniture. The pool is small and is on the parking lot side of the building, but was nice for a quick swim after the beach each day. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Overall, we enjoyed our experience.

The stay was adequate and the location worked for our needs. The space was clean and generally as described, but there were a few things that impacted the overall comfort of our visit.There were quite a few house rules, and many signs posted throughout the property. While we understand the need for clear expectations, the tone of the signage felt a bit harsh and unwelcoming at times. A gentler approach would go a long way in helping guests feel more at ease.The furniture was minimal and not very comfortable—some pieces were worn or not very functional, which made relaxing in the space a bit difficult.Overall, it was okay for a short stay, but with some small adjustments in tone and furnishings, it could be a much more pleasant experience.

Nice little space for a relaxing time

The condo was perfect for my husband and I. Check-in and out was easy. The condo was super clean and organized with a very comfortable bed and amazing view. It had the basic necessities. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Bc the building is smaller, the beach area felt way less crowded than some of the other areas. Wi-Fi and cable worked perfectly the entire time.

Overall, the condo was nice. The view of the gulf was beautiful. The condo had everything we needed. The management company was quick to handle problems. However, the property was disappointing. The one elevator was slow, the parking was non-existent for any guest as you only receive one pass and there is no overflow area, the pool is not much bigger than a hot tub and is on the parking lot side surrounded by a concrete wall. The second-hand smoking we experienced as we sat on our balcony almost made it unbearable as one of us is allergic, and it made it impossible to keep our door open at all. Even though the condo was nice enough, we would not go back.

BEST location and view!

This was our second time to stay at the Emerald Sky and it does not disappoint! Check in and check out was a breeze with communication at its best. The entire property was clean and just adorable and the view from the patio was beautiful day and night! Sunsets on the patio or a short walk to the beach, this place has everything you will need for making a great memory! The location was easy to get to and so many choices for fun and food nearby! We will be back again and again every chance we get!

Family Vacation

Location was perfect! Condo was great aside from things that were mentioned in other reviews. The main couch is well loved and can probably be replaced. The bathtub takes forever to drain. I will say the cleaning company did not clean properly and there was still sand all over the floor when we arrived. We came in late and I didn’t want to bother anyone and it was of no fault of the condo owners so I don’t fault them for that. Other than those minor things…. It was wonderful and I highly recommend! Air conditioning was strong! Place was so comfortable and the view was fantastic. Loved the pool too! It wasn’t super crowded which was great… my kiddos had the pool almost to themselves every time we used it!

Quick Get-Away

The property is in a great location away from the crowds of Gulf Shores. The Emerald Isle property is not a large as most beachfront condos so the beach was not crowded at all. The condo itself (#45) was nice and clean with a fabulous view! The ONLY criticism was the bed mattress seemed past its prime and the balcony furniture was also a little tired. But overall, a wonderful retreat! Warning, take your own beach chairs... the rentals on the beach are quite steep!
